Well, there is a possibility that Lucky Star will get another anime season, but not in the near future. I think KyoAni is still waiting for a few more manga volumes to come out.

Plus, keep in mind that the studio will be focusing on Nichijou next year, and there's also Haruhi around, with enough material for a new anime season.

let's just pray that the author of LS will get volume 8 ongoing now...i dont want LS to be like Haruhi series...(the Light Novel 10 of it was really delayed.)

Wakase is actually Izumi's family name. So the two are not related.

According to the Bandai panel at the New York Anime Festival '10, LS volume 6 was delayed but should be in stores in the next couple of weeks (while volume 7 is still on schedule).
