Well, I just watched ep 1 and decided to chime in with my comments.

The first episode was quite funny, and the character designs kiss arse.

That being said, I'll continue to watch as its pretty amusing. And Oogami is the freakin' man. He definately deserves to get both of the girls.

Jee, I was expecting this to be some shoujo-ai or dating sim anime then *BANG* big giant mechas come out of no where while the two girls are having a little love session. The mechas are so out of place, although I have to admit they look pretty dang cool.

After watching the first episode, I think the only thing I have to say is..

It honestly seemed like a 24 minute trailer. And what with the juxtaposition of the shoujo ai and the screaming fellow in the giant robot, well, my mind was quickly dissolving into a fine paste.

But for some reason.. I'll watch this again. If only due to the fact that it strikes me as "Marimite with Mecha".. ^^'

EDIT: I'm rooting for Oogami too. It's not that lesbianism is bad, it's just that Chikane is kinda.......scary.

well the mecha stuffs are pretty childish imo

.however,i'll just wanna watch the miko thing and see how the 2 girls worked out....hmmm did u guys just say the story will turn out very ugly?

ahh...hope not that the guy is dating one of any the 2 girls T_T ,dun ruin it oogami!

Oogami is such a cool main character...why can't we have someone like him to star in a harem series so that when there's shoujo-ai we won't feel the need to root for him! Gah, I'm so torn between whom I'm supporting! >_<

I think it's safe to say that as of now, Kannaduki no Miko (I guess I'll stick with that spelling) is my most anticipated autumn anime.

I can't wait for some Chikane x Himeko x Oogami ACTION

And about the banner... well, I only just started using Photoshop (and getting into visual design), so I'm not really a candidate

I wonder just what it is about this anime that makes it so zany, cool, and plain addictive...

Wow this show is amalgamation of bad shoujo and super robot cliches

Souma does a VERY good Seki Tomokazu impression, but that also confines his fate in a certain template.

Himeko is going to be a disaster magnet and probably die by the end of the series

Chikane will probably be the resident neurotic girl, switch sides a few times, angst even more and also die by the end of the series

I love this show.

YES you should watch Yamibou, Yamibou is practically the EVA of the shoujo-ai/lesbian animes, except that EVA has maybe not too good an ending while Yamibou has maybe one of the best endings of anime series in recent years.

Also it seems there's a lot of influence from Hatsuki of Yamibou on Chikane.

(except that maybe Hatsuki is not as aggressive towards Eve as Chikane towards Himeko

)

Somehow it gives the impression those photos will appear later. Then of course the unforgettable mecha scene. That right there is solid gold. That being said, I'll continue to watch as its pretty amusing. And Oogami is the freakin' man. He definately deserves to get both of the girls.
