ep 3

another good ep.
I knew something was "weird" with the way Mio acted at the end of ep2, and turns out she's now poor...
poor Keima, having to do all that pedaling... why not just ask Elsie to turn the bicycle into something with an engine? it sure would have made things easier...

anyway, I surely enjoyed the pig-tail girl...

especially her nice legs =>
Spoiler:
along with maid-Elsie, those were the two best things of the ep, for me.

GIFs =>
also, the ED is really growing on me, even though there's a little too much focus on feet. (me not Shiroth)

It's the second coming of Marie Antoinette!!!

And the shout-out to Heidi, and its parody of the anime's OP was awesome! I hope they continue to put in new allusions for the anime!

Oh my goodness, the Heidi segment with Shimono LALALA LALALALA-ing cracked me up so badly XD. Just like the "Wonichan MOE" from the last episode I just had to watch it over and over again. I swear his performances will be the highlight of every episode for me at this rate.

Oh God i laugh so hard over the Heidi part. Keima sure knows how to scream.

Everytime i hear Mio speaking in this episode, i keep thinking to myself: "Mina Tepes is a Tsundere! Mina Tepes is a Tsundere!"

The episode had a nice heartwarming end too.

Wow, this was, extremely good. I can't describe how much I loved it. Easily, it is one of the best manga to anime adapatation I've ever seen in a while. Pacing is flawless, and Shimono is getting better every episode; his voice in the party part definitely showed that he can pull off something serious other than crazy comedic voices.

Easily, the best anime of the season, and possibly THE favourite anime of this year for me. This might even top my bakemonogatari fandom.

Heartwarming story.
I think Katsuragi's school uniform makes him look more elegant than the suit did though.

Too bad they did not include the manga omake part this time, I kinda expecting it. Not bad, nonetheless.

The anime seemed to make this arc more heartwarming than I remember from the original. It was probably the combination of the voice acting and the music.

My love for this series continues to grow! In a short time, it's at level 4 proportions!

I have nothing but praise for this episode. The changing carriages, Mio gorgeous in that dress, Kanae Ito and Hiro Shimono's performances, Keima a funny hero, the whole ep is a perfect 10 for me!

A Daughter's Pride

Shimonoís slowly but surely getting very accustomed into his tole as the Capturing God. The entire Yodeling scene as he explains his plans to Elsee was very impressive and downright hilarious. The range Iíve been looking from him to carry the character is slowly but surely coming out, and with this episode it looks like he might really be able to do it when the pure galge glory of Keima is needed to be presented.

Keima as I mentioned before, despite his eccentricities as a pure gamer, is actually a very thoughtful and wise sort of guy. Changing the Tsundere is as cliched as an anime arc setup goes, but Keima is really one of those characters that really put a very different twist and approach to the entire thing. Most anime fans probably want to themselves make the moves on these character types even if theyíre pure fiction, but Keima on the other hand is living it. As I mentioned before, it might be ridiculous that fictional plans would work in real life (in this case on a purely meta sense). He might be using gaming methods for his capture, but the essence behind his plans are very much rooted in the natures of humanity, which is ironic for someone who prefers to reject reality and substitute his own.

Perhaps Keima isnít that rejecting of the real world as he thinks. Iíd again say that itís rooted on the fact that even fictional girls in his galge are still based on real life, so there is still a bit of reality in his games. Thus you could say that Keima is also indirectly learning about real life women from his fictional galge. Galge then actually isnít as fictional as he believes. Heís linked to reality more than he thinks.
