Good question. I guess it hasn't sunk in yet that they are pretty much on their own, no help will come, they are not ever gonna make it back (or at least I very much doubt it)... even though the need to create a country/community was realized, the need for self-defense hasn't caught up for some reason.

Well, what's more surprising is the battery of that laptop... it's still running after god knows how many hours of use. I wonder where I can buy one of those. Maybe it's solar-powered? Heh.

perhaps it is because they dont have a knife? so far everyone who seemed to have had a knife either lost it or they left it on the plane. Of course the only weapon they seemed to have made is a stone hammer.

you can made cutting tools form rocks.

yeah that is called flint mapping and it takes alot of time but then again each flake is razor sharp and extremely brittle.
