As a result, its dramatic/emotional shallowness versus its connection to my favourite studio is kinda conflicting for me. As a core plot/concept I actually kinda feel like it is the worst of Nishio's series which, aside from offering me the chance to (sometimes uncomfortably) be pandered to, is mainly only notable to me because of the gorgeous animation Shaft seems to pour into it.
Hum,Bakemonogatari is more than what you say. Bakemonogatari, it's two great main character aka Araragi and Senjouhara. The relationship between the two of them is unique and great. One of the great point about Bakemonoigatari is that the character are fun, interesting and original. You don't watch Bakemonogatari for the plot but for the character. But even so, the plot is not bad at all.

The plot resolving around "the fox lady" ? Wtf ? Have you seen the 12 episode before ?

Bakemonogatari is about Araragi and the poeple he meets and how he helps them. For each of these people you have a story. That's all.

You can say that you don't like it but don't say thing which are not true.

And Araragi a loser ? He saves everyone, he's kind and you're saying that he's a loser ?

Anyway, it'soff topic so I think we should go back to MedakaBox

Ah ah ah, I got a bad rep because I said that's off topic looooooool. Some people are really stupid

Good sales for Vol 7.

*9, *,*85,200 *,*85,200 Beelzebub vol.8
10, *,*82,789 *,*82,789 Medaka Box vol.7

dtshyk the news reporter on MAL posted this after someone said they preferred the start of MB, lol.

Medaka Box
vol.01 15,421 *49,965 *61,178 *78,715 *98,639
vol.02 54,194 *82,141
vol.03 72,101 *96,725 106,938 112,704
vol.04 63,570 105,855 117,238
vol.05 59,279 101,697
vol.06 65,220 107,095 126,545
vol.07 82,789

Will be interesting to see if it still has that arounnd 40k second week kick that vols 4-6 had. If second week is 25k than it's still doing the same as vols 4-6 really, just more frontloaded. If it's 40k than popularity has gone up for sure..

Medaka was is the top ten again this week. It's been going pretty well ever since the Zen x Shiranui confession. I guess people were looking forward to the StuCo battle.

On another note, I've been highly impressed with enigma. I thought the series was interesting and unique when it first came out and it's nice to see it doing so well. It's been ranked for 3 weeks now, once with colors and twice in the top 5. Nice to see that all WSJ readers aren't mindless drones. :P

Ranked #6 this issue and getting extra pages next issue.

2nd week for vol 7

20, *31,814 *,117,014 Beelzebub vol.8
21, *30,562 *,113,351 Medaka Box vol.7

Not really far off Beelzebub which has been pushed massively by Jump and has received an anime so quickly.. the anime should make this gap much larger though..

Last 3 issues it has ranked 6th, 7th and 5th...

Even though Minuses lose all the time, I still hope Shibuki beats Naze.

The raw is out. The fight concludes with fashion and a large explanation about how Naze achieved this.
