Holy crap that was scary when that shadow Yuuko appeared. Got to agree with everyone else that the shadow ghost is also Yuuko. Her spirit must have split in two and the shadow carries all her grudges and memories. I'm thinking regular Yuuko might not want to remember as it will probably cause her to hurt Niiya if the two spirits merge together if her grudges are strong.

idont think he knowing would hurt her and niiya directly,but it seems more like it would hurt her to have those negative feelings again.

Im pretty sure what is worrying her about niiya is him leaving her once he has lost the current reason to be with her, which is finding out whathappened. BUt on that front, im pretty sure he was intending to tell kande that he intended to hang around her afterward before they were interrupted.

yuuko seems to be really really stressed about it, leading to her yandere behavior at times.

oh and yuuko in a swimsuit is so so hot. Its kinda wierd how she has mass though, definatly not ghostlike.

I like the way the shadow Yuuko looks like a fox, because she sure is like one =03. I think that the shadow Yuuko only exists because Yuuko wants it to, otherwise she[believes she] will lose Niiya. It's too coincidental that it showed itself RIGHT when Yuuko thought she might lose Niiya for good.

Oh, and lol at the pre-credit page. Yuuko is HOT as ever =03. And poor Kirie, not getting enough Niiya love =0(.

The shadow Yuuko has always been there. It's what a lot of the ghost stories are really about and it's also the version of Yuuko that Kirie saw first which is why she was so terrified of Yuuko.

Yuuko was originally just as sweet and nice as she's shown to be while she was alive. She was so full of life and happiness...until the plague struck. She was apparently 'chosen' as a pillar/sacrifice to stop the seemingly unnatural plague. Chosen completely at random...to die. She didn't want to believe it - I mean, who could believe it? Chosen to die? Get serious. And yet, her leg was broken so that she couldn't run, locked in the basement and sealed up so she couldn't escape. No food, no water, left to die in a horrible manner - all to appease...something.

...sadness...despair...malice...hatred...fear...lo athing...all these negative emotions suddenly manifested themselves within a normally good soul. So great were her emotions that she managed to leave an imprint of them to remain long after her body decomposed - but something happened. The negative emotions which were so new to her got split off from the rest of her personality - or they were siphoned off by whatever was originally there to begin with. It would also stand to 'reason' that this shadow Yuuko holds the memories of what happened during that entire incident and that by merging the two together would prove the quickest way to resolve the entire situation. But...if that something was so bad as to make a ghost forget about it and try to force her to remember it again...it's no wonder Yuuko would rather continue on living as carefree as she could.

Man I wish someone would pick this up for the North American Audience, I just love it to pieces and I am generally not a "Horror" fan at all.

The mystery alone keeps me wanting more!!

Yeah, just saw them. I forgot the evil her took over some, because I was like OMG! Did she just push the poor lad down the stairs.

I was like dammit all! She gone crazy and gave into her desires.

That scene made me kinda sad. I know she probably couldn't control herself, but still...Can't help but wonder does she actually wish for him to be like her and her evil actually doing things from her inner thoughts.

They should ask the "granmother", I'm sure she knows something, not only was she her sister, she is important in the school: she can give permission to students go camping during the holidays, etc. probably Yuuko's family know more about the sacrifice.

It is certainly interesting development. I wonder where they go from there.

This manga has been great so far. I am quite a fan of the mangaka as I have seen his previous works before although most of them were h-mangas

A very good author. Always gives the characters depth and feeling, no matter how short their appearance may be (something often lacking in h-mangas).
