Yea Oga doesn't escape that cliche but I think that it's more for poking fun at him and for the comedy than anything else.
Others tend to be stupid at times you really wish they weren't and you just think "oh god get a clue already!"

And in Oga's defense he was called "Dumb shit Oga" before

God I really loved that court scene.

Yeah, here it's definitely played for comedy. Which is fine I guess, they already did a good job balancing the action and the comedy, no need to to bring up romance unless it can be used for laughs. And well, he's clearly "brawns not brains" kind of guy really.

And yep, the court scene is my favorite as well. What I do, I play the Phoenix Wright soundtrack while reading it, makes it even more epic. Oga really has wild dreams, huh? Like that one part where he goes inside his head, even he can't understand his thoughts...

Ogo's first reaction to the cleaning had me laughing so hard. Beelzebub never seems to disappoint when it comes to humor.

Quite a...genre savvy chapter. Not just the whole wax-on-wax-off Karate Kid method training thing, but I also laughed at seeing those bald guys (the new MK5? ), one of them realized and said that "isn't this what the losing side said?". Baby Beel is cute and funny too, it seems that he's getting trolled by this (possibly future) uncle there. The Zen-Toujou part is also hilarious, looks like Oga isn't the only one that's thick-headed...the bear part at the end is so random yet funny. Well, the training hasn't start now, possibly next week then. Oh, btw, anyone knows what week exactly will Shonen Jump take a break for end of year?

There will be no chapter next week I'm sure. I kinda forgot about Jump's schedule whether the break will be two week or it will be like Magazine's and Sunday's break(one issue, break, one more issue, break).

Great chapter. I love the references and gags in this series. Hope the anime is faithful.

I sure hope En isn't found by normal, physical methods of searching.

It's times like this one must implore the intellect and profound depth of General Furuichi and his Gaming Knowledge 101 to find En inside whatever MMORPG En is playing.

While playing it straight.

Hm... not much to say about this chapter, although worth a few chuckles but the progression is quite... slow?

This Manga is going at lightspeed if you compare it to any other shonen Manga..

Not bothered abt the slow plot. The humor entertained me. I like the part with baby beel and oga.

I almost always forget that Bakuman is shonen (Probably because of how good it is) and you are right, Bakuman is another exception where the author cares about the story and doesn't try to crawl for the next ten years so that he can have a job.
