Here's the gist of the plot:

Spoiler:

Published by Bandai Namco and set to be released on PSP and PS3 in 2011. The two games' save data will work together. It's also going to have full voicework.

Should be quite interesting.

Edit: Not really worth a double-post, but here's the link to the official webpage for the game.

Sounds intresting.

BTW, anybody noticed that this is announcement comes approximately "3 years" from the previous PSP game? ^_-

Now if only I had the $$ for a PS3 . . .

Wait, another North High Culture Festival? Isn't that in autumn? That would be like ten months later, skipping a lot of intervening time. . .

Here's the trailer for the game. Obviously it will have spoilers for the movie, so I'm placing it under a spoiler bar.

I really hope that it either comes here or that I somehow learn japanese to actually understand it in two months but I highly doubt either of them will happen .

According to the official site, the basic premise is one of Kyon returning to the "Disappearance" world. Spoilers below.

...DAMMIT! There's been all of these awesome Noizi Itou covers of the novels at late, especially that wide cover of all the reprints of the novels....and none are available in high res!

I'm not a happy camper.

Interesting...I wonder if it would add in an epilogue for Disappearance? Since they left out a, what I consider, pretty important part that explains who saved Kyon at the end.

Hmm, point and click adventure?

Hardly in this game, since that's already covered in the prologue of Intrigues (volume 7).

So you're saying this game is set AFTER Intrigues'? If that's the case wouldn't they need to kind of explain it?

No, it's not set after Intrigues. I was saying that Intrigues' prologue is where the hanging plot thread you mentioned is resolved.

Here's what to expect from the game. It's good fun, nothing serious.

Speaking of games, it's about time i bought Day of Sagittarius III for my Ipod Touch.
