I still believe Kyo-Ani did a better version than Toei except the song they have used are the actual theme songs from the game, anyway here is the song. Although they didn't include the part where she is out of the hospital talking.

Don't worry, I suggest something new from 2009 or 2010. Currently checking my collection of anime songs from those times. So far I've only given one anime song from The World God Only Knows as the easiest ever melody. Or better yet, I'll use one of the featured anime songs in one of the episodes of JMelo from NHK World from 2009 or 2010.

I generally agree with that, but 2002 version has its merits (e.g. more dramatic, like the unforgettable episode 8).

And with the answer, here comes my question for everyone: let's say, you are being sent to a deserted island for whatever reason, and you can only bring one of the following 2 songs on a portable music player with you, which one will you choose?

Kanon 2002 OP - florescence
Kanon 2006 OP - Last regrets

For those of you who haven't heard florescence before, Last regrets would likely be the obvious choice upon first listening of florescence, but please give the latter a few more tries. Its highly suppressed emotion is incomparable.

As for me myself, I still have yet to find the answer after almost 9 years.

You know I didn't even get around to watching the 2006 remake because I was so satisfied with the original. Everyone seems to like the new version better from the ratings I've seen though; maybe I will give it a watch one of these days. I just don't want to get all depressed after watching it again...

I would have never thought it would be this anime that would be the answer! Hehe... Probably should have taken guuchan's advice of another version more seriously. But there are still alot of animes I have not seen yet. So I thought it would be another anime.

I couldn't stand the 2002 version because of the horrible artwork. Kanon 2006 is an excellent series and I recommend you watch it one of these days.

Also, can't you make it even a little easier for me to guess?
