There's no stated date yet, so it's still at least 3-4 seasons away.

It's hardly going to air in 2012. I'd easily say October airing at the latest.

October, really? (I know it's just your speculation, but yeah) Why would they announce a series 9 months before it actually airs? That'd be silly IMO, I'm hoping for the summer season, unless we already know it won't be in that one.

Angel Beats was announced extremely early, but successfully hyped the entire series to the maximum during that period. It's all busy-ness.

@Shiroth, most of my favorite shows always seem to fall in into fall season.

The last one was in january, expect them to push it up a notch; expectations are higher this time I think.

But this is all just speculation… so back on topic, does it retcon–prequel the other series? Or is it faithful to the events.

Remember Araya in KnK? And that guy is considered below average as a magus. Tokiomi, Lord El-Melloi, Kiritsugu, Kotomine, the masters in Zero are all on a different level than the kids in Fate.

hoarfrost Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Age: 21	Spoiler for Kiritsugu: I put Kiritsugu with the rest merely because he is a good example of a hyper-specialist and is pretty much broken against the typical squishy wizard, even if he doesn't have the same repertoire of tricks.
