I'm surprised there hasn't been a new riddle yet. Maybe I should think of one to get this back going. But I'm bad at making riddles so I'll just let someone else come up with one

The next new riddle will be the contest starting, which won't happen until I'm sure I have enough to complete the process. So please do submit one Hooves. We have about almost 16 completely accepted and a few nearing being ready. Just a few more people submitting and we should have enough to start.

Since there will be at least 24 hours between riddles, can you also give a notification 24 hours before posting the first riddle?

Ah, so you're gathering them all up and then sending them all out one by one eh? I like this plan NightWish, also glad to hear the amount you have so far

I'm not quite good with making riddles myself so I might give one that's too easy.

There's more riddles then that. I alone, submitted like ten, and I imagine there's crazier people then me. The contest (currently) won't use more then one from each person, per round so it's better if more people submit. As for riddles being too easy, you can just do what I do. Submit the riddle, and only the riddle. Then wait for NightWish to give it a go. If he can solve it in one go, it's too easy, otherwise should be fine. (submit the answer and explanation afterwards for validation) Now get to riddle making! :D

Yes; I will post at least (but maybe a little more than) 24 hours before the first riddle goes up.

That's true to wait till everything is settled first then have at it then wait during the middle of the excitement. I'm not good at riddle-solving myself, but I'll give it a shot

The first trial is on page 2, and goes on until roughly page 9 or ten, when the solution is revealed.

I should have enough riddles to start the contest soon. If I don't get a full set by the end, I'll use two from the more prolific submitters. So... expect the first proper riddle to be posted sometime this weekend.

I have a question

Is the explanation necessary to post with the answer (url). Because I would really like to be made optional. That way even if you can't solve the riddle you can at least post some (at least one) url as the lucky shot

I am not of the oppinion that brute forcing the solution of a riddle has the same value as actually interpreting the hints in the riddle and deducting a more or less sound solution. I doubt your brute force solution (or rather lucky shot) solution would not count if it were correct, but I am not sure if you will receive the full score for it.
