What about Joint/overall Bureau HQ? Is the space station that holds Navy HQ also the location of Joint HQ, or is Joint back in Cranagan?

As shown above the space deathtrap is given the title "TSAB Headquarters", so I'm guessing Joint. The question is where the deathtrap is located; Midchilda seems unlikely since they took too much time to reinforce the planet during Scaglietti's attacks.

Floating somewhere in dimensional space.

Yes, but that doesn't mean it's not close to a particular planet. It's a base, not a prison, there must be good evacuation options especially for that amount of personnel. And putting it in a middle of nowhere would be a logistical nightmare.

Or maybe that's why Midchilda has no decent planetary defenses? All the budget goes to maintaining the deathtrap?

Nobody knows. Anything concerning that would be pure speculation.

The rampant use of deathtrap reminded me of the old old alternate timeline crack where Kane hijacks the Einherjar and blasts the TSAB HQ to bits, signalling the start of the Tiberium War.

What can I say? When I first saw the deathtrap, the first thing to come into mind was the Philadelphia

Apologies if this has been asked before, but does anyone know the names for Chrono and Amy's twins? I want to say their names are Karel and Leira, but I don't remember if it was ever confirmed.

It's not even certain whether they are from the same era or not (i.e. pre- or post-Destruction of Belka). It's not even said whether the Silver Cross/Eclipse has been continuously active the whole time like the BoD.

The closest approximation I can give is the Speed of Plot. ^^;

EDIT: I'll think it's when she performs unison with Rein just before rushing to face Zest.

So just how good is the dub? I'm hoping to hear an unbiased opinion from somebody who watches both and doesn't have some seething inferiority complex re: all things western, or a Yukarin-fanplex. Good luck in this neighborhood, I know.

I mean, I know it's hardly an A-list-of-A-listers cast, especially compared to Japan's S+-rank lineup, but how did they do? Christina Vee can't have been bad. . .

*sigh* (magical) Projectile speed, dimensional space travel, spell casting time...it goes for all of these!

Well this makes for a nice indicator I guess...unless the animators actually didn't know its significance and merely saw it as part of the obligatory 'visually cool stuff' to put in flight scenes (kinda like a visual cue for "this is serious now!")

Btw, what happened to Vice post-StrikerS? Did he remain a helicopter pilot during SSX or return to be a marksman?
