Shiro's not Miyuki's actual father.

Okay.

Miyuki was born to Misato and unknown dead father.

Misato swears revenge, gives Miyuki to her brother Shiro to raise along with his children, and runs off to avenge her late husband and rest of family. So far as Nanoha canon is concerned, she is never seen again.

Miyuki, cousin to Kyouya and Nanoha (born to Shiro and Momoko), lives with them as an adopted sibling.

Does that clear anything up?

Even more confusing, in Triangle Heart, Momoko is Shiro's second wife (that is, Kyouya and Nanoha are half-siblings who have different mothers).

And you thought the Harlaowns were a confusing ball of adoptive family!

I thought that, but I couldn't confirm it in time to post. Thanks Dezo.

Indeed. If I have my facts right, Shiro's first wife died in the attack that killed his whole family and caused Misato to leave Miyuki with him for revenge. He then met Momoko at some point after that, and they got married.

Wait, wouldn't that mean that Shiro's family got attacked twice (because Shiro died in TH from the bombing that killed him and Fiasse's father--the one where Elise was tricked into handing him the explosives-loaded teddy bear)? Not saying that you're wrong, given that the Fuwa/Mikami clans have enemies up the ying-yang and given the confluence of miko, kitsune, clones*, aliens, robot maids, and Victorious Bloodsucking Childhood Friends, the family getting attacked twice would be the least weird thing to occur...

*Apparently, Fate's not the first clone in the franchise; Clover used clones to attack in the game!

Edit: Seriously, Triangle Heart 3: Sweet Songs Forever is definitely the visual novel I'd most want to actually play, actually ahead of Type-Moon's works. Preferably without the H-scenes, though...

I remember reading it somewhere, at any rate. But it might not be true. I just remember reading that apparently she died in the same attack that set Misato on her path for revenge, though that would beg the question of why Shiro and Kyouya weren't there.

Quick question with a not-so-quick answer:

Could someone give me a rundown of Sound Stage X? I'm thinking about...

...and any info to help me shoehorn that into my story would help out greatly.

So this is basically similar to Endless Eight?!

*sobs in corner due to trauma relapse*

Sorry about that. Well it's a great thing that we don't have to waste 200 minutes (8 episodes x +25 minutes) on it

Actually... I watched Endless Eight in about 8 minutes.

There was this great youtube video where they spliced the screen up and showed the changed scenes from each episode where you can compare them to each other.

I had to admit, I was surprised that Endless Eight was so... repetitive. One episode, maybe two would have covered it.

I thought it was clear that Shiro was on a bodyguard assignment when the attack on Fiasse's father got through his defenses. This is not like the attack that killed the majority of his family, that was a direct assassination attempt.
