This entry discusses about Lawson's making a tie-in with the show. Not sure what sort of merchandise would come out, but given that there were previous tie-ins with other titles... it remains to see.

The best part is that the majority of the money goes directly to Shaft since it's an original series that they own completely. <--Well probably not COMPLETELY but a majority.

Even if Madoka doesn't sell as well as Bake in the disc department but it will still be the OVERALL money winner since they earn more from each product.

No. Shaft is part of the production committee, so they get some money, but the majority of it is most likely owned by Aniplex.
