Dark Souls (PS360)
Yes it is the unofficial sequel to From Software's Demon's Souls and King's Field series. This time it will be available on both HD twins (PS3/360). The game will be published by Namco Bandai in the west, for both consoles. In japan From Software will be publishing the game themselves, and only on PS3. Official international HP|Japanese HP Official Japanese blog The blog is maintained by FromSoftware and lists incoming patches and server issues and so on. It is worth checking out. Pretty sure that NB has something similar for the international crowd that they will launch in the future. No port begging please! Last edited by Sides; 2011-10-01 at 04:40. Maybe something like in God Hand, the better you play the harder the AI gets. |

This time we don't need to wait too long for a localisation, N-B announced that we in the west will see a release in 2011. Then again if the asian version has englsh option in it, i will import it. |

if this becomes an official sequel of demon's souls I wonder if we can transfer our save files from the first game that way we might have a slight advantage with our stuff carried over...
also, I expect to see the reaper in this game ![]() edit: okay, forget what I just said. I don't see this happening at all. |

God this looks freaking awesome. I know they're trying to keep that sense of isolation you get in Demon Souls but I honestly really fucking loved co-oping with my buddies back in Demon Souls. It was a pain in the ass too because we had to find each other's signatures and then use skype to chat. Let's hope they make it a bit easier this time.

There's a puzzle that will reward you with a code for something in-game. Go to their official site and click on the ruins on the background until all of it glows.
http://preparetodie.com/ It should look like this. Spoiler for bg glow:
Once you've got them all, you'll receive this message asking for an email address. Spoiler for submit:
Finally you'll receive an email with the codes. Spoiler for email:

Lmao, "take it and suffer the consequences"? From the few lines it sounds like FFVIII's Magic Lamp (used only once, don't get overconfident, etc.), probably summoning a big-ass monster that eats you before you can say "oh shi-!"

The key/code is suppose to unlock a gift that will give you a lead advantage. It would be cool if the gift was the sword and armor on the front page though. The image itself looks like the guy in armor is offering the sword. Quote:
The puzzle is a random guessing game, there are no clues to this puzzle. It's all about taking random guesses and hopefully you'll get the right one before your chances are up. There's a way to avoid the long wait till you get to try it again, clear the individual cookies for that site. You'll be brought to the DoB page and start everything over again. That will give you infinite attempts on the puzzle. A good way to tackle this puzzle is to not use up all your chances and refresh the page. The order of the glow will remain the same everytime you refresh the page (so try to remember which order it was). For example at the beginning you are given 5 chances, the first glow is a given (it lights up like every 2 seconds. Say you found the 2nd glow on your 3rd chance, after your 4th chance hit refresh (cause if you miss on your 5th chance you get auto locked out again). Now everything resets but you know where the first two are. Click the two in the same order and now you still have 5 chances. Use another 4 and refresh. Continue this method, it'll give you enough chances to look for the right glow. It's paramount that you remember the order, considering there are 30 signs altogether. Oh btw, your chances decreases as you unlock more glow. Be careful not to get locked out. Everytime you clear your cookies, you get a new set. So remembering the last set won't do you any good. Some people say if you don't clear your cookies (for that site) and wait to the next day, the order will remain the same... maybe. |
