Ping, just a question: I can't translate, but would it be too much if I checked for spelling errors et. al in what you've already put on BT?

Also, do the translations have to be as-is (word for word, such as that in the original japanese), or can they be modified slightly for readability? I used to do spelling and grammar checks both in my school days and my previous work as IT analyst (doing documentation and support)...

Ah yes please. There are plenty of typos, especially for the later chapters, since I was using wordpad.

You can edit it slightly for readability, just try not to edit too much of the sentence structure. Thanks in advance.

Also, it could help if some of the terms were consistent, even given different people are doing the translations (re: Rin = Ling, or Charu/Chall/Char)

I'm currently job-hunting at the moment and need something to keep me from going bonkers, which is why I'm volunteering for this spell check.

I'm just hoping nothing gets lost in the formatting--was planning to use plain old NotePad, but it doesn't support non-english text, so I might end up using MS Word or Wordpad for the edits.

...don't you think it's suspicious that Ichika not only has no baby pictures, he's only been confirmed as existing a year or less before Tabane creates the IS? And even then I can easily throw some suspicion about Houki whether she remembers Ichika correctly.

Somewhere along the line, someone's got to confront the Gotandas and figure out how long they've known Ichika and find a cutoff point somewhere...
