I attribute it to balance really, Oga's the protag yet I don't think he upstages everyone like say.....Son Goku or something.

Oh geez- we finally get a truly perverted one. At least that answers the question of why she seemed to have a demon's aura... I wonder if this guy ever met Happosai (I'm hoping at least half the people here know that reference).

And Aoi's being smart... she's definitely no longer in the same league as the Red Tails.

I like how this new character thinks. That was a hilarious chapter.

Those past couple chapters made up for Aoi's absence in the manga lately. Her reactions to Komainu's harassment were gold

ah... happosai, that underwear thief *sigh* i missed ranma 1/2 and I might need to get all my VHS collection of it out of the shelf one day... anyways, as for the chapter itself, we finally got a chapter fully focused on aoi and that makes me smile

and that raccoon looking demon was funny and I can't wait to see his reaction with furuichi and hilda

ROFL that was hilarious, the whole exchange of dialogue was funny as hell.

I'm actually pretty glad it turned out this way, Aoi gets her power up through a god instead of learning to "release the inner whatever" to fight.
She's still human girl with her arts but gets a boost from local god thingy.
Reminds me of Yondemasuyo, Azazel-san.

Looking forward to more Aoi-swan~ reactions!

p.s Hope Isa is here to stay, she's is rather cute.

Hope Kunieda's lil demond actually comes in handy (looks like a pokemon reject).

Was rereading a good portion of the manga and it's even funnier the second time around. I love Ryuuhei Tamura's characters and sense of comedy. This is helped in the very funny (and natural sounding) translation too.

On a slightly related note, I tried the anime and was throroughly dissapointed (was I the only one?) Everything was so watered down and blandified even the casting! Miyuki Sawashiro is darn cute as Baby Beel though.
