Battlefields get annihilated. Just ask Nanoha and Teana.

That, or Scaglietti recognized her summoning potential and dug up some training manuals from his lab for her. Remember: if there is some obscure magic in Nanohaverse, Scaglietti probably knows everything about it.

Refer to ViVid chapter 15 (was it?).

Because Starlight Breaker depends on how much and how fast the caster can gather surrounding mana i think it depends on the circunstances. I'm pretty sure Nanoha's maximum output is a lot bigger than Teana's but she was at a disadvantage in ViVid because they started to gather mana around the same time and while it's true that Nanoha is more powerull is Teana the one who have faster mana gathering, thus draining quickier the mana of the battlefield and having ready a complete Starlight Breaker sooner than Nanoha. also being on the same battlefield means that all the power Teana manage to gather is power lacking in Nanoha's own SLB.

According to Sein, Ragnarok and Armagedon.

The two big blasts will create a conflict that enhances the explosive power. For a visual idea of what happens, look up page 13 and 14 of Vivid chapter 15

Source for Teana having faster mana-gathering ability?

To me, it looked more like the clash made the blast go out of control, not that any of the two really was much stronger at that point.

We do know however that Teana can't do a proper SLB yet.

That's pretty much what happened according to Megane.

IIRC Nanoha herself mentioned it at some point between StrikerS and ViVid but i'm not totally sure now, i will search for it and post it if i manage to find it.

She can do the proper Starlight Breaker, as evidenced by SSX and ViVid. It's just that until she adds a special effect of her own design, her own twist to the attack, it won't be considered her own personal spell and still Nanoha's.

She pretty much says in SSX that she can't do a proper one yet.

That was SSX. We're past SSX now. By ViVid she was able to make a Starlight Breaker capable of taking out Nanoha.

Yes, that's why it's possible she finally manages to do it well, though of course they did have limiters, and her SLB also was only focused on Nanoha's while Nanoha's was focused on Teana's teammates, so it still is not certain if she truly can make a SLB

They did about equal damage, actually; Teana's SLB took down Nanoha, Erio, and Subaru. And I don't recall any limiters being mentioned, let alone used.

They were mentionned at the beginning/end, not sure which.

Yup, is the main argument of those who want to defend Fate from the fact that Erio bested her in power and speed during said battle.

I just looked through ViVid.

I didn't see the Limiters.

I was sure that they were mentioned, but I didn't see it.

Someone get the page where they're mentioned, please?

They weren't mentioned after the match either.

I don't know if this question belongs here but here we go. Everybody knows that in A's Raising Heart and Bardiche undergo the catridge upgrade to even the weaponary with the Wolkenritter, but if Amy is to be believed, this is an uncommon procedure at the time and even Nanoha and Fate are warned about the risk for their devices because of the mixture of technologies. Also apparently cartridges aren't obligatory or mainstream among the members of the bureau.

So, i think is safe to assume that there are ways for a full Mid-style mage(that means, without cartridges) to fight evenly or even defeat a full Belkan-style mage(Cartridge powered device and all). Nanoha and Fate undergo the procedure just because of the emergency.

So it would seem; unlike in shows like DBZ, skill in Nanoha can overcome power.

Chapter 11, Page 27.

One catch, though, is that it only mentions that the "Adults" will have their output limited. So obviously Vivio, Rio, Corona, and Ein are fighting full-strength and Nanoha and Fate are limited, but what about Tea (age 20), Subaru/Nove (age 19), and Erio/Caro/Lutecia (age 14)? Obviously that's rather relevant to the questions of:

Corona's golem OHKO-ing Lulu
Tea vs. Nanoha in SLB
Erio hitting Fate while she's in True Sonic Form

I think this one is fair game, i mean, even if Lutecia is ranked S in power she's still a young lady without signs of enhaced physique, being catched by surprise by a giant rock fist is nothing to sneeze at it, even for true powerhouses like Subaru or Nanoha xD.
