The silent part just reminded me of Fairly Odd Parents' charade episode. Except this was more driven with Music only and no Sound Effects. Pretty cool.
I must admit.. I agree that this ep felt like it had a short hand in the animation. Though in it's case it was a bit more direct with the dialogues at least which was ok. Still kinda surprising that it was kinda sub par animation considering the K-ON duo handled it. Makes me wonder if K-ON! movie hasn't gone gold yet that they had to cut Horiguchi some slack and had to use more rookies in the roster. |

Not sure why, but as soon as Daisuke Ono started talking I cracked up.
I had been wondering since the start how they were going to do the card scene. Interesting choice. Also that they added Nano to the scene in a clever way. Maker her seem like she's become more a part of the group. The Second "battle of the Ehhhs" seemed like a parody of the first one, with the style more exaggerated for that effect. Also it was faster. Also I may have missed it, but...where was Nano during the whole bit where she was to be trapped by the science teacher?

After being "silent" for a while, Mai returns with vengeance!
Since the start of the new series Mohawk guy got pounded by a hurling cup, electrocuted, beaten by his father and now gotten buried alive. The poor guy can't get a break. I dread to think on what will happen to him next week. It would sure be funny if they make the "Eeeeehh!!!" duel between Annaka and Manaba a running gag in the series.s. Its' a wonder why Annaka keep calling on Manaba when it's obvious he's going nuts. The house of cards, I agree is the best part, is superbly executed and a throwback to those funny old cartoon shorts in the 30's and 40's. that I love. |

The tracklists for the school trio's character songs are up, and there's some amusing observations on two of them.
Most of the tracks are titled "[Character Name]'s [Something]", but Mio's B-Side isn't about her at all. It's titled "Yukko Really is an Idiot". I sense musical bickering. The other interestingly-titled track is Mai's B-Side, which looks to be her cover of the first OP. What more this will entail, we can only guess. |

Wow, Yukko and Mai are really made for each other, aren't they? Mai can't stop trolling while Yukko was struggling at the thought of others calling it out, and close to climax when she finally did. Did I mention that Mai read Yukko like a book memorized Yukko's line of thought?
Also found hilarious that only that Crow was designed differently, the others looked like normal crows (the screen at which Mai feeding them). And a mouse sleeping on top of a cat...now that is friendship

Dam the scene between Mai and Yuuko and scene with the Teacher, Sakurai, and Annaka were two of the funniest in the series in quite a while; The over dramatic effects for Yuuko were perfect her and Mai have very interesting relationship .
The card scene was interesting and a bit funny, but the weakest part of the episode to me as I felt it ran a good bit too long; also I liked the Crow scene more than it too.
