Well, while we wait until having more context about Signum's awakening, here's the summary of Ch. 17(published in spanish as always xDU).

Well, more attempts to make the Hucks sympatethic, some revelations about the aftermath of S6 failure, a lampshading of Tea's future involvement in battle and a heartwarming reunion of Tohma and the StrikerS girls...

...and no freaking explanation of where the heck Teana was when she was ordered to assist Signum in battle xDU.

I laugh hard at Cypha's commentary about not liking to meeting with people like themselves (if i were her i'll also hate to be inside a room with myself xD).

So the scientist dudes from chapter 1 were Vandein Corp. The plot thickens. ^^

Teana replaces Hayate as chief? Why not Fate?? Fate is an Enforcer with much more experience under her belt... Obligatory crackpot conspiracy theory: The TSAB big wheels want SDS6 to fail, just like in '75.

Teana will probably get mass-based guns like Runessa's for her upgrade. Boy, that gotta make the TSAB mighty jittery.

Lastly, of course, Isis volunteers to share a room with Thoma and Lily. Gotta keep an eye on her harem, after all. :3

I think it is more because of their respective personality. Teana is more no-nonsense and less "soft" than Fate. Given the past seasons, Fate often have been more of a solo person.

The most interesting thing so far to me is that it seems to address something many around these forums have questioned before: How efficient can the TSAB's "no non-magic weapons" policy be when faced with an opponent who can counter it?

It seems that the the policy is being rescinded, at least, for the employees involved in the fighting.

To be fair she's hiding her face on the video with her hand, so i guess nobody aside from the ones who seen her directly in combat(Hayate, Vita and Erio) would be able to recognize her.

The Hucks infiltrate a corporative building disguised as business people, more proof that they are unkown to most people.

Maybe Teana began working on the investigation before Fate did and that's why she's the one being put in charge?

Spoiler for Lots of stuff again xD: * It's revealed that "reactors" are made by human hands. * Confirmed that the Eclipse Virus slowly replace the infeceted's original personality and replace it with a more violent one. * The Huckebein Family infiltrates and make a surprise attack on the Vandin corporation * The existence of over 200 Replica Divider Bayonett-type and Books are confirmed and destroyed by Arnage. * Cypha and Stella find more experiments with human samples of the infection(floating blobs of meat). * Curren make an "interview" with some guy and ask about some event where they won't be invited. Ten ask directly the name and localization of the creator of the reactor and divider. * The rest of the family discuss with Veyron about Tohma's hometown incident, while Veyron admits that the description fits him and Curren, he don't have memory of being perfomed an attack against such place. * Curren finishes her "interview" and gets info on the localization and quantity of the fake EC weapons, then reveals that the wepons are moved in four groups spreaded amongst various worlds. * Curren mention that they must be carefull of not being discovered as responsible of the attack to not attract unecessary attention from the TSAB(Arnage is very excited about it, tough). Then comments something to send a message to all the kids related with them to make a "travel"(Cypha things it's a headache to be reunited with more people like them xDU). * Scene moves to Section Six where Hayate, Teana and Wendy discuss about the attacks to Vandin Corp. installations(4 attacks at the moment), police says they failed to identify the responsible but it's clear to S6 that the Huckebeins are behind this. * A video came to S6 Headquarters, in it Curren warns the TSAB, civilian population and general authorities about a "meeting event" they will have and that they don't want to be molested under the menace of taking civilian lives if they do it. The video was intercepted by Teana before it can be transmited to the general public. * Steed is returned to S6 along with the video, Isis's bag with all her stuff is also returned(with a taunting message from Arnage xDU). Hayate orderes scan and revision of the goods returned by the Hucks. Steed tells to Hayate that Curren have two kinds of feelings that she would try to understand. * Because of Hayate's injuries and treatement, Teana and Wendy are asigned as the main investigators on the case. On the corridor Tea and Wendy talks about the move of hiding info from the general public, they also talk about Hayate's hurt pride after being stabbed and forced into a retreat by Curren, and the problems she have trying to explain her failure to her superiors and general public as she takes full responsibility over the failure of the operation. Teana also mentions how much problems they have with being examinated by an anti-infection team because of their close contact with Eclipse infected people. * Teana thinks about the imperfections and limits of their legal systems in this kind of cases and that they are still on the way to find the correct law structure to protect people efficiently. * Wendy mention the "remodelation" of Teana's "equipement" which will be ready in a week, it must undergo very strict revisions and regulations because apparently is some kind of "forbbiden-class" weapon. The Strike Cannon and the War Hammer also undergo the same procedure before official release. * Teana worries about the moment of confront again the "mage killer" weapons with new and unreliable equipement. * The two finally meet with Tohma who is with Subaru, Nove, Isis and Lily. Tea calls it "an encounter to asses the life that flourishes and light the way". * Steed is returned to Tohma and Isis recovers her bag(and angers because of Aru's message xDU). * Nove has to leave and Tohma ask her to say hello to Vivio for him. The Isis and Lily ask who is this "Vivio" and Thoma explains it to them. Then, the famous "Vivio & Einhart cameo" takes place. * Shamal arrives and tells Tohma that for security measures he and Lily will share the same room(separated only by a curtain xD). Isis thinks she must protect them and enlists to share the room with them too. * Tohma takes te opportunity of seeing Subaru and Teana togheter to give both an apology for make them worry for him. And to make them fell more calm he announces the suspension of his travel until the case is over. * Then this exchange happen: Tohma: I'm back home, Su-chan, Tea-nee Subaru: wiping a tear Yes... All the girls: WELCOME BACK TOHMA!
