Soo... I had to copy/paste that whole page and found what you're talking about... It's hard to understand due to Google, but they're improving >_>...

This is what google made:

In addition, "17 Epilogue Spice and Wolf" The thoughts [AA] is wandered and Yuke! I "finally the last story. The cuteness of Jolo in the Epilogue is unusual enough. I think that might just be speculation though... But in the assumption that there will be, This makes it win. As it will draw in more audience.

I'm sure it is temporary keep an eye on it... or use amiami or amazon.jp.

I know both of those sources had it recently.

Mm, been a while since I've been here. I missed the news about the all-important Holo artbook. Hopefully I can somehow secure a copy. I love artbooks but lack the ability to ever find them. Does anyone know if it's an actual artbook or a character guide? Basically, is it all just pictures with a few captions, or do we have a bit of literature and concept/line art? I love the former but can't stand the latter.

On the positive side, my Holo figure should actually be arriving next week. I had the release date messed up last time, so hopefully this time I'm actually right.

It is actually mostly artwork... though there are a few images I was hoping for that weren't there mainly because Jyuu wasn't the artist.

Got my Special Edition of S&W II!!!!

The resolution is pretty solid and the voice acting is great in Episode ). They did a fair job in the English rendition, but there is a bit lost in translation.

Got my coin too!

I have this weekend off, so I'll be watching all of Season II with my sweet lady and a couple of friends!

So no complaints about the picture quality then for either series?

Just to confirm is the JP audio in 5.1 on the BDs as well as the english? RightStuf mailed me yesterday to let me know my S1 and S2 are both on the way to me now. I might even have them by September

Yes it does contain both...

The only major disappointment thus far is that the bonuses: Studying with Holo and Stretching with Holo do not have an English version... I was looking forward to the English rendition... just to see how it compared.

Yeah mine came in this past Wednesday. Just finished the Amarti/Pyrite story arc and the ending was wonderful. My only gripe is Amarti's english voice.

Recently received volumes 1-4 off of amazon. The Western style covers are absolutely horrid, Thankfully volumes 2-4 are only slipcovers. Is there any way to get my hands on a slipcover for volume 1? I tried to contact Yenpress a week ago and have yet to hear back from them.

Wait are you saying you want a western-style slipcover for volume 1?

I just bought all 4 volumes 2 weeks ago and they all had the western-style slip covers with the live model portraying Holo. If you take the slipcover off there should be a soft cover with the original artwork of the Holo we all know and love

Just take off the slipcovers

I believe he's asking if there's a version of Volume 1 that doesn't have live-action Holo on it.

Ah ok. When I bought mine, all 4 had slipcovers you could take off. I think the earlier editions of Volume 1 did not come with a slipcover but subsequent editions did.

I guess if he was ordering off of Amazon he could have gotten an older version. Tbh, I don't know why they used the western-style slipcovers. Maybe to attract a "non-anime" audience?

Looks to be in stock right now if you haven't checked it out. I picked one up about a week and a half ago and it just came in today. Well worth the money.

Not sure what happened with season 1, but the picture quality was pretty bad for the blu-ray (lots of artifacting in the color and the lines were not very clean). The blu-ray files I have from the Japanese release were far better. Season 2 on the other hand is excellent visually and pretty much on par with the Japanese release. Japanese audio is unfortunately only 2.0 unlike the English 5.1.
