I've been thinking: How many major manga series had a character enter late who became so popular that they essentially stole the show? Like for example Hinagiku in Hayate no Gotoku?

In the manga, Hinagiku has made her first appearance in chapter 35, so probably at the end of volume 2 or volume 3 (If you are speaking about Hinagiku Katsura from Hayate the combat buttler).

i thought this was just an okay chapter. i was disappointed that the old dudes didn't at least try to duke it out. i guess fighting behemoth is reserved for oga, huh?

watching the other kids fight, especially aoi, was fun though. can't wait to see how strong they will get in the future.

Don't think that will be the case actually, with Behemoth retired, it will be Oga and new boss match up now.

I think theres still a chance the old geezers will duke it out later but seems that all Behemoth wanted was just to make appearance and then leave.

I just hope this fight between Oga and Jabberwock won't be too onesided.
Would be nice to see Oga at least hold his own till he's either saved or just left behind without being pummeled to death.
We already had Oga's shounen emo phase, don't won't another.

Was easy imagine that Oga could not beat him....
but was able to rescue her...for a moment....however, Hilda probably for the sake of Oga, decided to be captured.....and yes...kind of sweet scene between Oga and Hilda...
Is really difficult to choose between Hilda and Aoi.....are both them of good character..especially a bad ass girl character...i love this..is really difficult to find two character similar in the same manga..

Well that isn't fair, it's the standard shonen trope, there has to be a stronger opponent or else there wouldn't be any tension in the next arc. I'm glad to see he didn't oneshot Oga though, he took quite a few punches. Rescue arc on the way, which means more Aoi time (hopefully)!

Very much a sweet scene. As much as I like Aoi, it really is difficult to not dig Oga/hilda - just makes sense.

For those complaining about the rescue arc...seriously this is a shounen battle manga. We had to have at least one rescue arc.
