It would be way better though to have a Type-Moon subforum or at least a Fate forum, not separate from stay night, since they share many characters and setting.

ufotable has already clearly stated that Fate/Zero will be at least
Kara no Kyoukai quality

Just like how Steins;Gate was movie quality.. what's with anime companies doing their best Peter Molyneux impersonation (promising the world!) when it comes to animation.

When it comes to TV Series time is not on their side.... If it was airing fortnightly like GITS SAC did back in the day and they had half of it already animated and the budget was their than yeah maybe they could pull it off.. but not with a typical airing schedule.

I think it's entirely possible for Fate/zero to have Kara no Kyoukai quality as KNK, save for several stand out scenes, was generally NOT movie quality, lol.

I agree, the fights that were supposed to wow were usually the worst looking parts in a movie.

Regardless of whether or not it was "movie quality" it is still far above TV anime series, even compared to recent titles.

And until we establish what movie quality is objectively, these terms are rather pointless to throw around. Suffice to say KnK still looked very good and I will be impressed if Fate/Zero does manage to look like it.

Oh, definitely. I don't know what kind of budget the show got, but so far all of the animation I've seen is gorgeous. Hopefully the quality will last throughout the show's run.

Is Caster's Master basically saying "You're super cool, man!"?

Looks like this duo will get along particularly well.

Oh god, we all know this is going to be so damn epic.

Well... actually we don't. But the PVs look very promosing. Need my type-moon fix (avoided carnival phantasm as of now).

There are 815 comments in this sub forum and not one episode has aired yet. Wow. So yeah I'm looking forward to this one as well. Chances Crunchyroll of getting this show? What's the over/under bet so far on this one guys?

Zero. Last I heard, Aniplex themselves wanted to do a simulcast. Not sure how that's panning out, but that was their plan at one point.

^ Are you sure they didn't mean they would translate it themselves and then host the actual content through other venues, like what they do with AoEx and what Bandai does with S7?

A PV of MEMORIA is on Aoi Eir's site.

Sounds really good, good enough to be the OP actually. Speaking of which...still no word on it.
