Changing the topic about Saten, do you think that the 6th level 5 is Touma?

The fact that he can't use any ability because of Imagine Breaker doesn't mean that he doesn't have an ability.

But, to support this idea we will have to know how the power scan works. If it just analize the aim field of the esper then of course Touma is a level 0 because of Imagine Breaker.

And we don't know if his precognition ability is something he developed just by experience or if is his ability that is surpassing Imagine Breaker.

Anyway, is just an idea.

How the hell would the Academy City measure such a power if it's always suppressed? Besides, previous to his memory loss, he declared himself to be a level 0, and he's not the type to lie about that.

About his precognition, you're right, we don't know much about it. My personal theory is that it's completely linked to the Imagine Breaker. I think he unconsciously developed the ability to perceive how IB interacts with AIM and Thelesma, so he intuitively knows when a supernatural effect is used near him, and how it will behave.

The 6th level 5 is better left the way he is now - unknown character and unknown powers,
so everyone can put there the character they prefer, like the perfect what-if scenario.

Spoiler for code geass:

I believe everyone has enough imagination to put there any character, regardless of the rationalisation.
It might be any existing character with already said or unknown powers or any original character.

For example Touma might be also a level 5, because the scientists consider his brain already to be at par with level 5,
but because of IB that negates his power, political or other reasons he is labeled as level 0,
note that he himself is HIDING the fact that he has some power.

It might be any character: Aogami, the cat girl, other Touma classmate,
even some magician whose power directly allows him to use magic (just like accel, but more direct method)..
heck, even Saten might be a level 5 if she has a split personality (implying dualskill) that is a level 5
(and she does not know or does not consider the other person as part of herself).

But "cat girl" is stated to be a level 4, right? Or are you referring to Nayuta Kihara?

And guys, I can't believe nobody brought up the theory of Kazakiri being the unknown 6th level 5! I mean, unless you only count human espers, there's a reason why she can Awaken, albeit through a code on LO, but it doesn't mean that Espers #3-#5 can Awaken too either.

No one brought it up because there's no reason to. If Kazakiri was the #6 Level Five, Touma would have recognized her instantly in Volume 1. Everyone knows who the Level 5s are, and if people didn't have at least some idea who the #6 is, don't you think people would be suspicious if the power ranking went: #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #7?

On top of that, Espers and magic are incompatible. Every attempt anyone has made to use both has ended in a messy death. Tsuchimikado is the only known exception, given what his Esper ability actually is. Which doesn't actually get around the problem...

People wanting him to die have enough evidence that he died, people wanting him to survive have enough evidence to support the idea that he lives with CC.
