Yes I did, I am however one of the minorities who thinks 11 >17 due to the suspense, murder, flow of the game etc...Ever 17's True Ending was the real prize but the flow of the game was really boring imo....

I'm a big fan of Mystery / murder visual novels though and played Eve Burst Error too.

Would be nice if there are more recommendation of these types of games.

I'm actually translating Never7 right now. Currently, I'm 94% done with the Initial Translation, then I'll move on to the Final Translation (where I basically recheck my translation and redo things I wasn't sure about on my first pass). Expect it to be done around April next year.

That's very nice of you . I actually read Chinese and can play the Chinese version of Never7. But the infinity series tend to have a lot of allusions to Western stuff that I think it's better for me to wait for your English version

You remember how Keiko asked which Satoru liked better, right? 'Stabbing, or being stabbed?' Keiko never finished her sentence, but she's the 'being stabbed' type.

It wasn't Keiko who murdered Satoru. There's another person with long hair in SPHIA, one who actually is out for blood: Utsumi Kali. If the main storyline isn't clear enough about it, bad ends actually show her murdering people in SPHIA. She will try to kill Keiko and anyone who stands in her way as she does so. In the dark, she probably mistook Satoru for Keiko and took her chance.

Is this one of the bad endings where we see a person holding the knife? If it's the tan skinned knife holder, then yea, that's undeniably Utsumi Kali who must have mistakenly targeted the wrong person at night. My guess is, yes, Kali doesn't know who it is and doesn't mean to kill Satoru/Kokoro, but if you choose the option to attack/jump on Kali, then she gets nervous (the script even says something about the shadow being surprised, or something), so as a means of self-defense, she stabs you at that point.

If it doesn't show Kali's skin color, then it might be Keiko, in which case I've got a theory to that as well: The baby in Satoru's body accidentally cuts his hand with the knife, and when Keiko sees the blood, she feels compelled to kill Satoru/Keiko as a means of ending their suffering. She seems to enjoy ending people's suffering, including everyone at the hospital and the suffering rat.

lol when you said 94%, I was thinking, "Holy shit! You mean we're close to having another Infinity game so soon?" And then you said "April next year" and I'm like . Really for the 2nd pass, if it's just your translated English anyways, you could probably just outsource it to others and they can proofread it.

I was browsing Nico Nico today, when I discovered something interesting: one user has compiled nearly four hours of video explaining his theories on the solutions to the mysteries of Remember11. Notably, they include information from the PSP timeline and Drama CDs, so he's literally using every source at his disposal. I'm thinking of taking a look at it, as it could contain some interesting solutions to mysteries that remain unsolved as of now.

Just wanted to post that I got 5 out of 6 of the Character CDs (all except Yuni's), and so I will be posting the Character Songs up on Youtube sometime in the future.

Oh, and I also got the novelization of Remember11, which had a different ending than the game. It didn't solve either of the cliffhangers, but it certainly ended on a more postive note than the game did.

So, I know I played this game very late (finished it yesterday, including reading all 14 pages of this topic and the other one at the VNTranslations ). That said, something has been bugging me, and I'd like to see if anyone could shatter that doubt, as I can't prove it, but I can't dismiss it either.

Wouldn't it make sense if the 'new' Satoru was actually Sayaka with Satoru's memories transplanted? This would answer on how the real Satoru was trying to save Sayaka and get 'revenge' on Self at the same time, which goes along on why 'all of this was done for Sayaka'.

I'm still developing this idea in my head, but if anyone could clear it already, I'd love it

New Satoru's intelligence is clearly above average, he is not exactly the most gentle person around (the only less gentle characters in the story are Keiko and Lin), he doesn't show any liking of snow, has no problems with being in a psychiatric hospital, did not fear any of the medical stuff inside SPHIA, shows no dislike of himself, has a clear single personality, and, well, appears throughout the entire story.

It is very possible that what you described was what Satoru was trying to do. But if he was, he definitely didn't succeed.

I just found an interview between both Nakazawa and Uchikoshi for the Infinity series in general. When they got to the Remember11 bit, they said something I found rather interesting.

Apparently, they wanted to make Remember11 as a sort of "anti-Ever17". By that, they meant that instead of a story where the player overlooking the game's world guided the protagonists, they wanted to create a story where the player wasn't necessarily a "good existance" to the characters, where, depending on the player's decisions, tragedy could strike them. They thought it'd be an interesting idea for the player to become the enemy of the characters. They specifically call the story a "story of endless revenge" in regards to the characters. They go on to say that to the characters of Remember11, us players, who are "beings of a higher dimensions", would be akin to godlike beings in their universe. In that case, they say, Remember11 could be considered a story about "defying god".
