Ouch...that's evil...The worst I've ever done is ask "Where is the bathroom" incorrectly once during a Spanish test...apparently I didn't spell it right and it turned out to be quite a different word (turns red)

Weekly World News
This is the first forum I've been in that believed the stories they read in the Weekly World News. They stole it from Monty Python, you bonklers.

I believe that sketch in Monty Python was the "Hungarian Phrasebook". Not one of the best sketches, so it can be forgiven that the young-uns here haven't heard of it.
![]() It would be unrealistic for a Japanese tourist to read something from a phrasebook and have the listeners react so strongly, they would assume that the speaker garbled what he was trying to say. Please.... ![]() -k |

This reminds me of another story i've heard before but wondered if it was really true. I heard that there are stores in Japan (or some asian country) that sells shirts with Japanese (or oriental) writing on it that says something to the effect of "I'm a stupid American (foriegner maybe) that bought this shirt because I thought it looked cool." I really want a shirt that says that!
I think it would be worth it if I end up going to Japan with my friend, to find a English to Japanese dictionary that has those kinds of phrases in them. I would love to go up to random cute girls with the book in hand and ask them to "Please put your copious breast in my mouth!" Who knows? Maybe after a few hundred dirty looks and stares maybe I'd get lucky.
