So, in that matter, 'This certain Osanananjimi' in my story is Pyxis' mentor figure or something like that....that's if I used Pyxis for my story anyway.

Anyway, I knew it should be discussed in LN Discussion but....

Spoiler for V5 C1:

It'll still be okay if that's the case, but even the wing-shaped boosters on the back got enlarged, so a lot of energy is spent.

Though I need two-thirds of my time to recharge the [Ignition Boost] to increase my speed to 1.5 times, it really is too much to use up that amount of energy...

But course, all these won't use up too much shield energy, but because the particle cannon uses the same energy system, I have to use it well.

(Need to quickly switch between close range and long range tactics, also need to get shooting practice, training with the new equipment and...)

ARRGGHH! I HAVE LOTS OF THINGS TO DO!

Even so, my top priority's the same as when I was in first phase. It's about how to conserve my energy.

(Energy, energy. Can't I use a little less energy somewhere? Sigh...)

ByakuShiki was hailed as the strongest machine, and it's said that it's flaws has been fixed when it reached Second shift, but from my understanding, the weakness became worse!

Seriously? Cecilia's rifle is powerful, but there's no indication that it cost a lot of energy, sans sapping her shield! ByakuShiki is the strongest I.S. in the world second only to Akatsubaki? Bullshit!
Ichika is LITERALLY forced to work with Houki, and it made me mad. I'm IchikaxHouki shipper but this is really absurd!

In my story, this would not be a problem since Ichika use physical form of Yukihira A LOT and Ichika already the knew the basic to counter Long range attack with those. Does this counts as God Mode Sue (Ichika) / Fixer Sue (Madoka)?

You can use the physical form of Yukihira, but it won't pierce the shield, so it's like hitting a metal wall with a bat, it may take awhile but the wall will crumble, compared to if you use a high intensity beam saber that cuts right through.

Well, yea. The fact is that Setsura is like Everything x2 (including weakness)
So, even if you have 2x the power, the power to create a shield, the fact is that your battery life dies 2x as fast, which means that your overall battle capacity is not that good.

particle canon that we haven't seen, she has
a big-ass lance thingy that is also a gatling
gun, a water blade that acts like a whip/sword,
and the water around her IS which has nano-
machines that channel IS energy which she can
use for offense/defense (usually defense).

So there's no weaknesses or limitation on it at all? I just read V5 chapter 1 and 2 and it looks like she just kicked the entire harems ass!

You don't really need Pyxis to use his mentor figure though.

But every suit has a weakness! Cecilia is a sniper but she has no CQC capabilities, the opposite is true with Rin's. Byakushiki has high energy cost, while Raphael revive completely lacks energy weapons, Laura's is balanced but it's vulnerable to an attack from the back. There has to be SOME kind of flaw on it.

leave a weakness on their suits, for the
life of me I can't think of Akatsubaki
having any serious flaws either.

I know nobody leaves flaws on purpose, every IS specializes in something which leaves everything on the opposite spectrum weaker. I'm mostly wondering what mysterious lady specializes in so I can find a weakness to exploit, I don't want to write Tatenashi as a god mode sue especially since my fic is a deconstruction.

- The flaw of <Akatsubaki> is the most obvious one: The pilot.

If <Akatsubaki> was given to a more capable pilot, we could probably see a lot more performance squeezed out of it. Or more accurately, <Akatsubaki> was set up to compensate for it's pilot's capabilities, therefore it cannot do everythign an IS of that caliber and capability should be capable of.

If you're looking for its specialty, you'll
have as much luck trying to find out
what the Strike Gundam specializes in,
because it was meant to handle almost
anything.

Actually the Strike Gundam CAN be explained. It puts on different armors whenever it has to depending on who's fighting. The sword and shield is the all rounder, the bazooka's for long range but only has the knife for CQC, the big blue sword one is strong but completely lacks a gun etc etc. Unfortunately I can't use this explanation for the IS suits.
