Angry Emergency:Problem with new hard drive

Ok, so I bought a new hard drive and installed it. Its a western digital WD5000AAKS 500gb drive. I load up my computer have to change the drive to be my second hard drive. My computer boots.
I then format it and I formatted it to NTFS and when it was formatting it came up with a error saying "Refresh computer management to try again" I did refresh and I still can't see it, virtual disk is running please help.

assuming you have Windows 7, I had the same problem. I called Western Digital and they did a step by step processes. Then gave me a link just in case I ever need to do it again. I'll share you this link.

if this doesn't work do you have it installed correctly? if so uninstall and try it again and then follow those steps in that link I provided.
