Yeah, I gave up. My import copy came in the mail today. Can't wait to start, even if I won't understand the story.

I heard word from someone in gamefaqs that Xseed heard about fan clamoring for the game to be released in North America/Europe. Other than that, nothing.

So if anything else, I may buy the Japanese/Asian version even though I only learned Japanese 100 to 101, which sucked for me in the latter.

Yeah, I took two years of Japanese...in high school. So it's been 6 years since I was last in an actual class, and we only did really basic stuff. All this kanji has no meaning to me.

Well I had to take Chinese when my folks sent me off to a Chinese Catholic school. So it does help me with the kanji reading (at least for the first 20 of 'em with 10-20 more from Japanese class).

If SEGA does say no to XSEED/Akys/some company that doesn't mind localizing it, I probably will import it soon as well...

Apparently there will be a VC3 Extra Edition coming out in november, think it will include the DLC(s), like what they did with VC.

I'd just like some sort of story translation to pop up somewhere. Even a basic summary so I know what the heck happened. I can bumble through the actual game, but won't get a lick of the story :<

IIRC, the Extra Edition will be less expensive than what I purchased months ago, and I thought it was worth every yen.

I downloaded it off of the Japanese PSN so that I could put it on my Vita next year. Well, that and I could get it more quickly than having it shipped.
