Hmmmmm..... I just realized this: Could Takane be a reference to Kaguya Hime from Taketori Monogatari? Although we do have a relatively known background in the game, seems like the anime took things a bit further.

Well, typical of many male characters in that position -- his mental state is: "unaware". Besides, for the sake of his career, it's actually a bad idea to get... that involved.

On the other hand, the girls can get "special favors", if you know what I mean.

But sadly, that's how it can work in the real world sometimes.

Real life Actors/Actresses... yea... sometimes, to get ahead... some "hook-ups" may be needed...

Such is life in the entertainment business...
