oh, speaking of k-on ending song covers, i wanna share my ending song cover to you guys. it's the ending song of the movie. the song is "Singing!"

You're getting better :P That was a pretty damn good cover. Just turn the song down a tad so we can clearly hear you. I just keep the backing track on quietly in the background so you can hear the drums and vocals.

Also, when I get my new guitar (The Fender Pawn Shop Mustang ) I'll be doing some K-on! Covers. Most likely gonna be the new movie opening, Kira Kira Days and a remake of Azusa's Character song from volume 1 (Watashi was Watashi something or other) for obvious reasons ;D

Reaper works pretty well for audio. I used to use Audacity a ton for my recordings but then switched to Reaper. It's a little weird to get used to but runs muuuuch smoother, effectively, and more reliably than Audacity.

Oh yea I should note, although they want you to pay for the download, you can select "trial download" and when it asks you to pay just say, "Still evaluating" lol

I use Sony Vegas. I put the song on the timeline then record my guitar (Plugged in via line in) over the top of it and adjust the volume levels accordingly.

Pro-Tools for recording audio, Sony Handycam HDR-CX160 for recording video, and Sony Vegas/Adobe After effects for synchronizing everything together.

I'm using REAPER + Guitar Rig (guitar directly connected to line-in) for recording then for mixing the tracks I'm using Audacity...yes I don't use amps or anything since mine sucks.

It's been a while since my last post but I'm visiting this thread daily XD

Unmei wa Endless! is done. The bass part sounds complicated but I can't hear the notes at all, it's probably a lot more like Utauyo Miracle's riff than what I have. Hopefully anyone playing it on bass can figure it out. Yui sings so fast, it was really tough to figure out the notes for the vocals.

I really want the band score for Ohayou, Mataashita, Unmei♪wa♪Endless!, Ichiban Ippai, and the lyrics. These songs are just too cool! I just want to learn them right away! Hopefully an official band score will coming out soon after the release date!

hello there. just checking out this page to see what's new. hmmmmm. wait a minute, the new songs are already out?! what the, that's great. i'ma gonna search for it.

well, i did another video cover. my friend from FB saw my cover of Singing! and asked me if we could do a collaboration cover. he's a bassist, and a good kid. he's got more experience in the bass than i have with the guitar, but i'm older than him... btw, here it is: (P.S.: noisy background. he's still new at covering songs. and i suck at editing vids. pls don't humor me too much). and yes, the first part sounds weird...

uhmmmm, well sure dude. that would be fun to make a collab with you in the future.. though i will be very busy these coming days due to my work/training stuff. i don't think i could have some spare time, even in the holidays. but that would be cool...

thanks dude. yes, i suck at editing vids. i guess my computer is just too weak to handle that. i mean, it takes me hours just editing the vid on vegas, just trying to merge the video with the audio. and the video preview on the vegas screen is really delayed, specially when dealing with more than one video.

Oh the Mustang. excellent choice dude. at least someone will be having a Merry Christmas.. hehehe XD.



oh, may i ask you guys (not really related to tabs and sheet music), but do you experience the same stuff when you edit your vids in vegas, or any other video editing programs? just curious. (sorry for being off-topic)

Sounds good. What song do you want to try? What about Utauyo Mircale? I can already easily play the strange Azusa parts of the song, so if you want to have a go at what Yui plays then go ahead

Also, I'll edit it all together if you'd like. I use vegas any way for my covers, and it takes about 10 minutes to edit the video and render it in HD :P

I think the best way to do this would be for you to record yourself playing over the song, remove the song so it's just got your clean guitar part and then email it me. I edit it all together in vegas and send it you to upload to your channel.
