I don't get the Rare/Normal+ on the top left corner. It gives me a TCG vibe going on. Anyway, judging from that picture looks like there's a few of them missing. Also, cannot unsee Mugi.

Also, I THINK MY iM@S IS HAUNTED. If anyone remembers my ramblings from last week's episode, I mentioned that over the multiple versions that I watched the episode on, the pit would either be black or have the lift visible. Well, now the same version I've watched over the week has CHANGED. What the hell? I'm terrified.

The top one was taken as soon as I watched the subbed episode for the first time, and the second one was taken just now when I rewatched the same clip. I didn't edit or touch anything in this video. Yes, I know the second time had a better contrast and brightness, but the first version is pitch-black and no matter what I do, I can't recreate the first screenshot, which used no tricks or filters. I haven't fiddled with my computer settings in ANY way between the first and second screenshot captures. Someone PLEASE explain what's happening or I won't be able to sleep at night. >.<

Overall a pretty nice episode. The conclusion of it wasn't as heartwarming as the one in Chihaya's episodes, but still nice. Looks like the last episode is going to be about the live. They better spend all their budget on this one, because I won't be satisfied by a ton of little snippets like the ones in episode 13.

The first half kind of continued the heavy ennui feeling that persisted throughout the previous episode. There was hardly anybody on screen, and the tone was considerably bleak. It felt very art-filmy at points. I was prepared to keep it brief based on that, but the second half shot itself right back into the tone of the first half of the series, which I thought long forgotten, by the means of a plot device I know well.

That scene where Haruka met her younger self(?) who turned into her first half self(?) and then her Xenoglossia self - okay not really on that last one. But the idea of something vaguely supernatural, a soul-searching journey that makes reality feel not for a second - was something I could totally get behind. Vaguely ephemeral and mysterious, and just a little crazy, but that other Haruka had a purpose - to get the Haruka Haruka back to where she belonged. And everyone else got back together too!

Screw reality. This is where it's at.

No no no, let me tell you, I completely lowered the brightness settings on my laptop and I can still see the lift. Also, my method of using ALT+Print Screen doesn't work like that- I get a similar image now matter how bright my image is on screen. It's the same clip from "Chibi Miki Miki", but whatever I do I CANNOT recreate the screenie I took last week.

Damn stealth, I agree with your choice 100%. To avoid unnecessary bloodshed though, I'll just take Yukiho's Cosmos and quietly be on my way (which surprises me because I'm not much of a fan of Yukiho, but the other 4? Now see, that's another story).
