well, isn't it better to have it separated? there are people who don't like being spoilt. better to just separate the threads.

Obviously. BTW, did you know that I even went directly to the project website page to post my thanks? It should be the second comment, I think.

on a side note, can we have the novel discussion thread too?

Then just create one. It's better to separate them, but I'm too lazy. And I'm also too lazy to spoil or summarize (summarizing takes time as well, I realized from summarizing Oreshura). I can tell you guys that it would be quite impossible for LN to go faster than manga in translations because of the time I have. (Unless someone volunteers). The last 9KB update took me more than 3 hours to translate because of the terms and my lacking English vocab. (as a comparison, I can do roughly 6KB an hour for other titles that I've done with dual screen setup, ie. if I care about the English, or I could do more).

But the Chinese readers who can read the Chinese translations can spoil you all.

hmm...*reading*
Setting : Infinite Stratos
Plot : Mx0
Character : City Hunter
Story Telling : Dragon Ball (* x *) so much detail ..ugh!

Overall impression: interesting..but no where near Full Metal Alchemist level or as fun as Mx0

the Author must make it more simple and easy to understand/translated, or it will kicked out from 'Light' Novel level and enter the other one

Bro-con sis is a plus while Dragon Ball like story telling is a minus in my eyes

Nope. There are a lot of light novels like that. Just that most are just interested in ecchi/harem/moe genres. This story is well received by both Otaku and non-Otaku alike and generated more than 50 million page views while it was still a web novel. This is purely action series and no ecchi nor harem nor moe. And how is it like Dragon Ball? It's closer to Horizon/Shana style, even though they are not the same. I think it's probably not for you .

Purely action with little to no ecchi? Then I'm definitely game for this. If it's as detailed as I think it is, then that pretty much gives more points for this manga in my book. I always want a good grasp of the universe I'm reading at to give me more imaginative fuel and to understand what's happening when certain things happen...

Just asking since most LN I know of have romance as a subplot. As long as it doesn't hurt the real plot I'm fine with it.

hmm..
3 possibilities about Secret:
1.Something to do about his Magic-less status and his Imouto super power
2.Something about their family
3.Something that hidden from his own sister and can make their lovey dovey relationship falter

Yeah, I guess it's something about his magic-less condition but I wonder what.

I'm not so sure about number 3, since he apparently not interested in his sister in that way. And I think the sister know since she said "Even for magic .." in chapter 1. Implying that Tatsuya is supposed to be super badass strong.

My guess is that his ability is not the usual magic as possibly he has destructive ability something like decomposition of material or magical construct and that this innate ability is so rare that it take out almost all of his magical circuit leaving only some for other weak magics. he can't construct a powerful magic but is able to negate all magics and possibly can even take lives and even deconstruct any material. Therefore, he hides his ability as it does not help him in any way unless he wants to take lives.

In short, i think he is like shirou in that he can't do most magics but he uses the magics that he have and brings it to the extreme ala UBW. A specialist of a certain magics.
