So far how many times did we thought he died? 3 - 4 times?
He is either finally dead, or they will find a way to resurrect him somehow.

What? He only survived a possibly fatal wound once (the end of ep 11), as far as I can recall. We've known he was on the way out for a long time, but he's only ever apparently died once, hasn't he?

Well, I don't remember everything in all the episodes, but I think first we thought that he died in the satellite/leukocyte attack episode, then we thought that he died in the plane (during the virus "activation" before Inori started singing to reverse it), then in the latest episodes he received a wound meant for Shu (and we suppose that now he died). But also as a kid during lost christmas incident the explosion wasn't enough to kill him.

He survived the bullet Mana made him shoot when he was a kid.

I know, but we were talking about incidents where the audience was lead to believe he was done, only for him to get right back up next episode. That wasn't such an incident.

There's still the episode when they blew up an airfield with Gay standing smack in the middle of it and then episode 11 where he was almost slashed in half. So make that 3 times if you count episode 12.

Exactly the reason I was wondering. Mana's dead body couldn't be there, so either Gai hugs a soul or there is something behind it we don't know yet. It's too obvious to be simply a case of anime logic.

I was just wondering. Couldn't Shu use Hare's void and cure Ayase's legs? Or does it have something to do with the fact that Ayase is beyond that point?

I was wondering about that too, but has Shu ever used Hare's bandage void on humans?
Perhaps it doesn't work on humans/organic wounds. I think Hare's void can repair only machinery and infrastructure like bridges.

This. I'm sure if he could use for heal Ayase he would do ...but he can't (at least from what we know).

It is a good question, but it has its answers. Not concrete answers, but they do make sense. For example, let's say Hare's magic bandages can heal wounds like open cuts and dismembered limbs, yet Ayase has a perfect pair of yummy looking legs, they are in fact very much intact and usable as we've just seen in ep 13.

What it amounts to, is a mental thing. It happens in real life, where someone loses the will to use their legs due to an accident or something. As we can see, Ayase is not paralyzed nor are her legs rotting to the point where it needs amputation, so that leads me to think that there's something traumatic that Ayase has yet to get over, so until then.... Void Prosthetics ftw

(I might have missed it, but have they ever explained what forced Ayase into a wheelchair?)

With the void evolving, I could think that the functions could evolve too: Hare's bandages might be able to universally heal any injury.

But yeah, what Ayase needs now is rehab and not void bandages....

haha i guess when u think about it, hare's void should be able to heal Ayase. I mean whats one injured spinal cord compared to a 200 foot piece of blown up bridge

Yes, I really do wonder what caused Ayase's disability. It's true that Hare's void has not been used on a person yet, so maybe it might not affect organics.

I do feel sorry for Ayase if she does not regain her ability to walk soon. She is currently 17 years old, and when she turns 18, Shu will no longer be able to pull her void from her. Hence, she won't be able to move like she did in the past episode.
