Side note - So should I have Ichika headbutt Tatenashi in the chapter or not? Sorry for asking, but I'm really stuck here.

Maybe have Tatenashi do/say something that irked him. In his defense, she did that precisely to taunt him to work harder.

crap, the prologue got too long.... (attempting normal story because fairytale spoiled certain secret...) Because I tried to explain IS again.....

@ Treme - No need for an info dump since most readers know what an IS is already.

@ Senpai - Would a punch from Ichika's byaku-shiki arm cause any lasting or permanent injuries like broken bones or internal bleeding?

@ Senpai - Bullets wouldn't pierce the metal of the arm, right? It's the only defense he has against bullets.

Yeah, they won't. The armor can withstand heavy sniper rifle and shrug it like a peashooter.

Didn't Ichika use his I.S. outfit?

It's a bit cramped in there and he was trying to sneak. He got caught and nearly got shot, so he panicked and summoned the arm to block the bullet.

Don't forget to summon the headgear to use hypersensor later, also, vest armor.

He summons it later after he takes out the first hostiles in the room. Summoning the wings in a cramped space while people are clustered together is a bad idea.

Since Irish's segment takes place at the same time, would he hear what's happening on thw floor below him?

The original plot bunny:

at first it was just supposed to be a what-if high school reunion. Maya and Ichika were once in a relationship despite Maya being Ichika's homeroom teacher. They broke up because Ichika knew during his graduation, his life would become hectic and he wouldn't have time for Maya, so he broke up with her thinking she'd be unhappy from neglect if she stayed with him. Ofcourse Maya didn't take it well. Now the reunion would be the first time they meet face to face after 8 years.

The snow-balled stuff would be how they got together in the first place. Their first kiss(!?) random stuff
