Just discussing the ANN review seems a bit too narrow imo. It would be more interesting if we had a thread that was open for discussing any review from outside the forums (blog entries, comments from unexpected people, etc.,). This way we could start with the ANN review, but if people wanted to point out other interesting reviews/comments, or even compare them, they would have a place to do so.

That's a very good idea. I like it.

"Madoka Magica Reviews From Outside Anime Suki" sound like a good title to you?

Or if you have a better idea for a title, that's fine.

I don't know if those should be included as well but there's also the awards madoka as won

For exemple the grand prize of the japan media arts festival

So maybe "Critical Reception of Madoka Magica Outside Anime Suki"?

edit:Well I'll leave it up to Triple R

That's up to Triple R, but I wouldn't mind including that either since those awards often come with reviews/reasonings as to why it was given. I do like your thread title though, and will probably go with that either way.

EDIT: Thread is now up.

Since Madoka Magica isn't as big a fanfiction generator that Nanoha is, it'll be okay to use the MM fanfiction thread for your cross-over ideas.

New Hanokage's Rebellion manga is coming very soon. Should there be new thread for that?

there is a generic thread for manga, though I think another history got it's own; considering how spoilerish regarding movie 3 the rebellion manga will be and the fact that a lot of people won't be able to attend rebellion screenings I also think that a separate topic for the rebellion manga will be good.

I wonder if it would be possible to get a "Madoka Magica Translation Request" thread for Madoka Magica doijins and images? I've come across a fair number of dialogue/text-heavy images/doujins during pixiv image searches that it would be great to get translated if possible.

The latest one is this one which strikes me as a really good doujin with some excellent artwork. Now, I can already make a guess at what the basic story is just by looking through the images, but knowing the exact dialogue would be nice, of course.

Now, I could just bring this up in "General Discussion", I suppose, but I was wondering if it might be better to have a more specific thread just for translation requests like this one.

Translation threads aren't really something we allow at the moment, sorry.
