Servant Santa would be badass. Anyway, the studio's already embracing him as pet, since this was their holiday message.

Of course, the difference is that shirou's saber can barely use it at all(and in one bad end against 'zerker, she manages to fire a crappy low-output version which doesn't even slow him down), while alter spams it like there's no tomorrow. I understand that, but I'm discussing this from a practical view point in the Holy Grail war. Saber's aware that her prana-expensive NP can be a weakness while a weaker NP like Cu's can be far more effective in a fight (this is why he has the highest chances to win were Bazett had stuck around as his Master).

Sometimes when I see the Servant vs Servant discussions, many forget about the Master factor, which IS decisive. :P

If we're going to be practical about it then we might as well stop discussing altogether since Saber can't use Excalibur anyway, on the count of that cursed thumb. XP

It's a part of the Carnival Phantasm series.

This episode delivered the cliffhanger of cliffhangers.

Personally I found this ep 13 dialogue-heavy, but it didn't hinder my enjoyment of the episode, and instead emphasized the dynamics between the characters, which was quite good, especially in Rider and Waver's case. The cliffhanger with Saber was also well-executed. 8/10 for this one.

And now for the wait...

Hmm, it seems like Ryunoske believes in Intelligent Design.

it's in order to create depth in their characters than just another one of those 'evil duo that must be killed!!!"

Some news for Fate/Zero the second season. The second ending will be composed by Yuki Kajiura with a new singer, Haruna Luna.

Quote:
According to excite anime, a new singer with Sony Music named Haruna Luna will be performing the 2nd Ending Theme of Fate/Zero (featured in the continuation of the anime this Spring), which will be composed by Yuki Kajiura!. The title of the song is not announced yet however.

Haruna Luna is also a model for the fashion magazine “KERA” (which often features Keiko of Kalafina/FJ too), and drew public attention as a finalist for the fourth Anime Song Grand Prix of Japan. Kajiura has reportedly praised her voice for its sense of presence. For more info, visit her official site, or her page on spacecraft.

New OP (presumably) and ED themes is nice, especially when composed by Kajiura. Wasn't particularly impressed with the first season ones.

I just hope they don't go and make the new ones spoilerrific and all.

Yes. They made killing sound so very innocent, didn't they? Add on the idea - they're the only ones who understand in their terms.

Well, I took the time to finally sit down and watch this series and its exactly what I expected and Wanted, having come from reading the novel, and such as well I'm pretty pleased with it.

People who are complaining that the show is weak is not very familiar type-moon I take it, as most of the universe is dialogue..

Anyways I give the series as a whole: 9/10, as I do think it has a few pacing issues.

If it's any consolation, a month from now the BD release comes out with extended versions of Season 1's episodes, as well as the soundtrack. That should help keep the withdrawal symptoms to a minimum until April.
