For the most part, though you can now see the bonuses the armors provide at a glance, unlike in ME2 where you need to scroll down on the info to see them. And it's easier to choose your colors instead of using a slider.

I do see a new option in the form of "lights", which seems to be for changing the color of your armor's luminous areas.

's more like, all this huge rage about femshep because there never was a femshep to begin with. Maleshep had a media face, therefore it's easier to make and assume him the 'canon' shep. Which is something that never sat well with femshep fans.

Varies from person to person, but overall it's a feeling that because maleshep always had a face, he's the 'canon shep' while femshep was non-canon. To some people, that matters since it means to them that they're playing the non-canon version of the game.

Other varieties of the fuss come from how some people prefer femshep's voice, or that they want to see femshep animated in CGI trailers instead of in-game graphics.
