So far it is been fairly good as a Space Opera. Slow pacing for five episodes to introduce the setting and give a better view of the skills needed and how skilled the main character actually is so you can believe she can do her job. After that seems have picked up the pace a bit.

Pretty much everyone who is active in that thread can recommend it. It has exceeded people's expectations in multiple ways. It's a direction I wish anime headed in more often, I would say. If you like stories that don't rush themselves and have quite a bit of setup, with a lot of genuine love and care that was put into the world that everything takes place in, and themes of friendship and exploration, then you'll like it.
