Something which just came to my mind:
Why did Sasakibe even have his sword with him? In the SS arc it was said, that it's forbidden for Shinigami to have their Zanpakutou with them in Seireitai, and they needed to get a special permission.

That's specifically for releasing them, iirc. Also, in a life or death situation, I doubt anyone besides Byakuya would care about rules...

Criticising the manga is a discussion. Besides, I think some do discuss the manga considering some of us already predicted that it would be about quincies before it was even revealed. It's just that there's very little to actually discuss...

usually they send out 2-3 chapters in advance so getting sick wouldnt stop the production. but i guess tite does his own thing.
