Thats quite the tidbit of info, think I'll need to check out the raws to see whats up, was putting it off as to not spoil the anime.

She's trying to get Karasawa to give Habara not herself. Habara was the one who gave him the scars and is still mortally terrified of her.

No, it really seems Yanagin wanted Karawasa's forgiveness towards -herself- and uses her past deeds as a justification for that.
Considering how crazy she is, few things probably did happen in between (and even now, as mentioned by handoffate)
