Honestly, I don't think Chihiro could have acted in any other way, her being totally fine with it would just come off as creepy to me.

Also I have this odd feeling the author will twist this somehow so it ends up pushing Keima and Ayumi closer together. Ayumi doesn't strike me as the kind of character who will just accept this for face value, either that or it will force Keima to be somewhat truthful from now on.

I thought Chihiro offering to help Keima was kind of suspicious. Guess my hunch was right.

Now, to see what's Ayumi's reaction to this. Like some others have stated, Ayumi isn't foolish enough to take it at face value but it could go either way in the make-or-break situation Keima currently finds himself in.

For some reason I get the feeling it's the Vintage girl disguising as Chihiro ruining Keima's plans. Also, we haven't heard from Haqua talking to Keima since he arrived at that house.

I'm a little ambivalent. On the one hand, this might make Ayumi not just another hostess, but someone aware like Tenri. Also, it's about time someone put a stop to Keima's one-sided planning and execution and make him involve his allies.

On the other, HURRY UP AND LET MERCURY OUT ALREADY!
