Well that's sad.

I wonder why I do not have any subtitle problems / tv-overscan problems with my setup. For example the latest ANBU&AonE release of Naruto plays fine without transcoding anything.

Maybe there is a difference between American and European Television sets which causes the tv-overscan problem ??.

FYI... for those who are looking for the ultimate DivX player for the living room (connected to the TV)
the answer is: a modded XBox with this: www.xboxmediacenter.de

I was going to get one of them, but instead "wasted" my cash it on a Medion DivX player that has
the same overscan issues. But I'm not sick of converting (yet), and this Medion does play every media
type I throw at it, which is great (previous player had trouble playing DVD rewriteables).

As for XBoxMediaCenter -- it's supposed to play ANYTHING too (AVI/MKV/OGM, etc) and has
loads of options, including most importantly a "overscan adjust" option! Note though that I only
know this through the feature lists on the site, I've never seen it running in real life.

I think you gotta mod your xbox to install media player. Theres many ways to mod your xbox, with a modchip or a softmod.
