Nothing, just the classic surge of power every needless releases, the aura surrounding their whole body. It's too soon to talk about a possible fragment.
Well like you say we do know that he is a needless..but not from how long. And another thing that we do know is ...his eyes..eyes that take by surprise even AA.
But that was sure a powerful surge of power to even push back Arclight makes you wonder...

If you ask me, probably even before the PF blast, it just that after it Yamadas only started to awaken.
My guess is that the implanted chip made his power unable to awake.
Yeah ,don't matter how you look at it...that surge of power was really powerful to push back someone like AA and already make him go WTF the eyes where the final hit to make AA even more surprise.
That's possible ...with the chip hide there probally seal something in cruz brain that make him unable to use is needless power. Now that the chip is gone and his memory seem to be back his needless power is back as well. One thing that i wonder is ...if what eve do to bring himb ack not make his needless power(whatever this power is) even stronger that was.(just a thought that I already say).
The chip? I don't think so. That surge of power was result of his outburst of anger. There was no one who could help him and his sister died before his own eyes, a hopeless position certainly way different from past he has been.
Of course, I'm sure I'm not the only one who knows when did Yamada evolve to needless: after being brought back to life by Eve. Everything began at that there.
Remember that mark that burned on Mengroze arm? Now think what if that is Yamadas stigmata? NOW think he had a stigmata before so he was ALREADY a powerful needless right?
And now he got a power-up to it. So he should be above other stigmata holders.

Remember how because Blade missis a portion of his brain and unable to learn doppelganger because of it?
So what if the place in Yamadas brain were the chip was is portion which was responsible for he fragment? Although that's just my speculation so we need to wait for it to be revealed as to why Yamada couldn't use his power up till now.

I mean that where the chip was maybe seal some part of Cruz brain that was need for his power. this and maybe not remember about that time.Afterall we do know that needless power are link to areas of the brain.

Now that you mention ,during Mengroze flashback there is was a similar surge of power.
I think we should discuss Arca's position. Because it has been proved things weren't as they seemed in the end. Arca was never Arclight's devoted bodyguard, nor she was ever loyal to Simeon. But she did perpretate some crimes that demand answers.
Why she tried to gain the other half of the chip by persuading the Resistance chief before she made up her mind and betrayed them?
Was her reason to kill Yamada because of the half of the chip hidden in his brains?
Arca right now is the most mysterious character in the story...
The only reason I see for her to betray the resistance is that the chip had value more so then the resistance thought and/or Arca was working for a 3rd party.
In the end the first half of the chip she retrieved was given to Simeon. But of course, she already knew beforehand they could not be able to do anything with just that. She was being honest when she told Yamada that she opened that hole in the ice wall to have him run far away.
A 3 party seem more likely now....still make you wonder Saten role in all this ...I mean he is pretty interested in Cruz. Make you wonder how much he really know about arca about Cruz. ecc
Arca and Saten are the two most shrouded in mystery. A lot of things can be said about the later, but what I believe is most important is the fact they are a team because of the nature of their fragments.
Saten shattered the Killer Girls strategy, a plan that would have culminated in success if it wasn't for his sudden and unexpected intervention. He then purposely faked defeat in order to let Eve heal Yamada. And if that isn't enough, whenever the time called for it, he didn't hesitate one single second to protect him from any danger.
Just who is he? And what's more, since he hasn't come yet, did he already know this was going to happen? Yamada's power surge.
Yeah ..I was really surprise that saten dont come out to see all this.at least that he will not apear to try Yamada power?I mean make yamada fight again him to make him understand his own power and at the same time check out what ever he want.?
Speaking of Saten, who thinks he will end up fighting Strom in the near future and defeat him thanks to Yamada?
I mean thanks to Yamada, Saten now knows his fragment can affect Strom.
Anyhow Saten is probably the only character who is near Yamadas level of brain power.
Has a powerful fragment and knows how to use it effectively.
Now the fact he hidden information regarding Blade having stigmata and the reason why doesn't have it now is also suspicious.
Well he could hide it only from Ishiyama who is a member of 666 but did he tell Arclight? Judging from Arclights reaction to Blade I dont' think so.
So the bottom line is maybe Saten also works for a 3rd party? or he maybe IS the 3rd party.
And I agree here.BUt i do think that if Saten find out about yamada (aa?) he would try to find out more about his power for sure. And knowing him ...he probally end in something like a fight..to try to draw out Yamada power and see how much is strong that power.
Maybe Yamada ends up in a situation were he will be forced to fight Riruka?
I mean we NEVER saw her in a fight and she does have the ultimate fragment psychokinesis so a perfect opponent to show off if Yamadas power is indeed godly...
Well from what I know i dont think blade eve or someone else can fight again Ruki and win...so who knows maybe yamada fragment /power can do this?but this would be too much for his first opponent...then again his power just wake up beacuse of AA .
