The fact that cruz, stand up as nothing happened on his brain, it's strange.
Arclight only say "don't fear, you won't feel pain" (because there are no pain receptor on brain), the injuries on cruz brain are real (I don't think arclight have doppleganger power and he didn't cares of injuries that cruz brain could undergo) , he woudn't able to move as if nothing happened.

If it's power, it's not a dormant capacity, but something acquired after PFzero, because if he was this power since a longtime, he wouldn't go to the brink of death when aruka slicing him
But it's strange, if he acquired regenerative power, then he possess more differents power (normally it's impossible without "zero fragment"

Finally was able to read pages 415-now and figured I'll add my thoughts on Chapter 100.

Okay, first things first, does anyone else thing Arclight saw the WRONG memories when using Blackout Invoke? What Aruka was doing and talking about seems very different than just the data chip. She was talking about the truth of Cruz's body (likely his fragment) rather than the datachip inside of him. And her final words about the left and right hands doesn't seem to match well with the datachip, at least right now. I'm starting to wonder if Arclight simply found the memory he was looking for and followed that one instead. Might be true, might not be but just something I'd like to mention first.

Didn't think I'd be happy with Cruz having a fragment but the way everything has progressed recently and the way it was shown is nice. What I like the most about what happened is that Cruz doesn't know what he did though everyone else around him did. Would be kinda funny to see how everyone discovered their own fragments (i.e. Mio discovering for the first time she has Power).

I'm really curious to see what Cruz's fragment is. At first I thought it was something about survivability which I've mentioned in the past but it might be something more basic than that like "reversal" or something. If it's not, then it would be something similar to Aruka's fragment.

I didn't think the datachip would be in Cruz's head but I'm fine with that happening. It ties up a loose end and I'm always happy when that happens since there are about a thousand in Needless (every chapter always seems to answer one question and ask a dozen more). Glad to hear Cruz won't suffer any damage from that extraction but that might prove to be Arclight's downfall for letting Cruz survive.

Sad to see Aruka go like that but death's magnitude has been lessened in Needless with the presence of clones. What makes it interesting is that it makes death meaningless to Simeon but it's still everything for Blade and Co. Simeon can afford to lose their soldiers since they can always be replaced but not Blade and Co. (though you have Teruyama).

Overall, really enjoyed the chapter and absolutely loved the 4koma. But that's kinda expected knowing how much I enjoy the comedy in Needless and how Setsuna is my favorite character (she's essentially the main character in the 4koma).

It's too soon to say that Yamada won't suffer any damage, for all we know he may start to see things (well it could be because of his fragment) for example AnN will appear and give advice on his fragment or Mr.T come and give advice... Well AnN is more likely to appear as to teach Yamada about his Fragment...

agree. AnN seem to be more likely..I mean i cant see eve or blade help yamada in this lol AnN on the other hand is not the first time that she help him. wich mean they have some kind of relationship we just not know what this realationship is.(they are the same person?) they are different people but know each other in the past? they just linked for some kind of reason?. That's will be another thing interesting to see. But I will lol if Yamada start to talk with AnN and Blade,Eve and disk think that AA damage Cruz brain(because they dont see and heard AnN)XD

I think AnN was created by Yamada subconsciously because he needed someone and thus the combination of Eve and Blade appeared.
And as to how he did it maybe his fragment allows him to make dreams and illusions into reality?
And I think Yamada will remember that in the dream world only he could hear and see AnN, but still would be funny to see Blade and co. think Yamada gone crazy

Even if this is the case. AnN had to become real in some way or had to exist already. I mean we know thanks to needless 1.5 that she is real .But yeah would be funny see blade and eve think that Yamada gone grazy. Hell from what we know they think is sad because his sister is die before his eyes an he stay in one place and look only one place (where AnN is )lol.Still I hope she reapear soon now. I'm curios to know the true realationship between her and Yamada.Still if she is real and have some link with Yamada i wonder what both blade and eve would think lol

Of course, what Arca said was deliberately ambiguous (on the author's part) to avoid giving too much away before Arclight turned up and decided to play amateur brain surgeon. But I don't think Arca knew about Cruz's fragment. I think her whole attitude towards him would have been different if she had known he was capable of such a display of power.

I don't see that the business about the hands of God has to have any connection with the data chip... but having said that, wouldn't it be interesting if Arca were referring to the chips when she said that? There are two of them, after all. Well, it's just another crazy theory... (I don't even believe it myself, but there it is.)

Oddly enough, I was thinking along similar lines recently. We've all been wondering how ANn could apparently travel back to the past and appear to Cruz in the memory world. But what if she was just a figment of Cruz's imagination* , and this vision somehow influences the real ANn's appearance when she comes into existence in the future? I don't think Cruz's fragment has to enter into it though - maybe he just tells the others about her at some point, and that sows the seeds for... whatever process leads to her creation.

* I had yet another crazy idea as I was typing that. Perhaps ANn represents something stored on the data chip, which Cruz was able to communicate with due to the properties of the memory world? Now that would be interesting...

Oh by the way, now that I think about it what if the memory world where Saten and Yamada were, was created by Yamadas fragment?
It's like the shard hit Yamada the shock made his power surface and because what he saw was Blade memory and an illusionary world was created and so Yamada along with Saten for the ride were trow in there?
It might explain how Yamada edited it and removed the darkness.

From AA reaction I dont think yamada power is just that. IF that was the case there is dont way in the hell that AA would react like this. If we go with mengroze in the memory world.I think is power is something likend a atom like his sister but much ,much stronger. Can be wrong thought.

Yeah something like this...i was thinking a what mengroze say to us and the mark he had on his hand. What ever Cruz power is...the eyes are key in this (AA reaction say all). and the surge of power show us that is nothing to take lightly. Now the only thing that we need to know is how much Yamada can use this power(whate ever this power is) and how much time he nedd to understand this power and how to use it.
