1 week is the max life span for sane tofu. (Though I think it's supposed to be like 1 and a half months, but that's including all the time it spends from the plant to your table. If the tofu is insane and born from a chinese supermarket with questionable hygiene, shelf time and open refrigeration, it's not good to eat it any more. I'm not certain but I believe tofu products get you severely sick when they spoil.

It should look white as snow. Unless it's frozen, then it turns yellow and spongey like and tastes like grandma.

It's not about the product expiration. I heard some nasty rumours about UK Border Force, so there you go.......

It's dirt cheap in Malaysia too, which is why I was depressed for some time after I arrived in the UK. Oh well, one must learn to adapt

It seems that this good forum has quite a thing against ageism. Old age doesn't exist here, especially if you use a loli for your avatar.

Well.. technically Tomoko isn't a loli (though she dresses gothic lolita and is petite)... I guess. If "loli" strictly means petite and cute, well then guilty as charged.

What are you talking about? That's Meme Touwa in my avatar, and I'll have you know that she is quite lively for a woman that just turned 40.

I'm not very fond of the way attraction to pre-pubescents gets conflated with attraction to post-pubescents. They're really two very different situations, the latter being the "normal" for most of human history pre-industrial age. Unfortunately, the conflation has happened on both ends of the discussion -- the "pedo" branch (<12ish lovers) conflates it with attraction to teens or young adults to rationalize their behavior is okay; the "save the children" fanatics conflate the two age groups so they can make people feel guilty for thinking a 14/16/17/19 yr old is cute and encouraged the idea that any grown man is a pervert if he looks at or says hi to anyone under the age of 25.

Funny, the "save the children" group seems obsessed with extending childhood to absurd ages in some sort of refusal to acknowledge they've grown up even though they might be finished with their education.

It's not considered unusual for women to be fond of young children, regardless of the gender. People chalk it up to the "mommy instincts." The current stereotype is that men are generally only fond of their own children - if that. I don't know how long that stereotype has been around for. While women sexually abusing young boys does happen, even without any statistics in front of me I'd be willing to bet a hefty sum of money that abuses involving men are far more common.

That's one of the stock songs from Apple's iMovie. Apple calls it "Pendulum." However, the iMovie version is only 30 seconds long. This group either mixed it longer themselves, or if they're using Final Cut Pro perhaps Apple has a longer version of it there, or perhaps Apple got it from elsewhere and this video uses the original version.
