Well, first thing first, they don't have a decent pool. You can use the big hot spring as substitute, but that would be shameful being an elite school it is.

I mean if you have a sufficient funding for a MASSIVE ARENA where the audience can be protected by a SUPER ENERGY shield, and special lockdown procedures.

I'd hope you'd have a large enough budget for a good pool >_>

Yeah, but that wasn't in the school. Besides, half of that scene was covered by the runway.

I think they do have a swimming pool somewhere....

IS is akin to a sport and Swimming does provide good form of exercise....

In fact, I think they do have a swimming club or something.... Having Kendo Club but not swimming club is just plain weird.....

As for my fanfiction, I think I am having some trouble with an internal monologue explaining more backstory in the politics of the world of Infinite Stratos... So here's a sample so far...

Well, I can't really gave constructive comments, what I see so far at least give enough glimpse on the theme, since per "Law of Conservation of detail" you don't just dump a wall of text. I'd say it's good enough.

No, pistol and common rifle bullets are made to destroy flesh and will deform when they hit hard surface. That's what Armor Piercing Rounds for, they blow a very small hole when shot upon unarmored target, but it can pierce armor nonetheless unlike normal rounds.

I haven't a clue... Considering that I wouldn't considered it armor, it leaves a lot in the front to be exposed to open fire if the shields fail

We serve as the balance in the world. If we didn't exist, then the IS masters of the world would be the Permanent Security Council Members, just like how it was with nuclear weapons: a permanent ban of these weapons except for those that already have them. Pop the chute...now. However, that's not everyone's viewpoint with the Infinite Stratos.
