A year's worth of Uchuu Kyoudai...
Wow. The manga is god-tier. It dares what every damned seinen work these days don't dare to do: to dream, to have a goal, to reach for the stars. Because damn it, we are looking up and going straight into space. If the anime is half as good, we have a classic in the making. |

^I don't know if it'll have the same production values, but if it follows the manga like the above posters said, it's going to be an awesome ride. I love the manga. Definitely my favorite space manga yet.

Just watched the PVs that Crunchyroll has up for it. Looks really good.
Crunchyroll seems to be streaming it five hours after it airs in Japan so I will likely be watching the first episode on Sunday. And I think it starts in less than two hours in Japan, so my excitement is certainly building. |

Not the most exciting sci-fi series ever, but a good start to the spring season.
* Thank you, A-1 for not having the Americans speak English. If only more studios would take your lead. * Kinda weird that they were still using cassette recorders in 2006, especially after Another made such a big deal about how antiquated tapes were by 1996. * I noticed a disclaimer in the credits saying that although NASA helped with the show they don't necessarily endorse the contents. I wonder if that's just granting permission to use the NASA logo or something more substantial? |
