I bet most OreImo fans would be crazy within the second season. I would love to see how Kirino gets deredere personality instead of staying tsun like the first season did (but she may have her own few "dere" moments). Unless Kirino stays tsun for the whole second season, I think fans will start to like her, in a redemption lesson.

If they start at Volume 6 then maybe it really will end at Volume 8.

Assuming they go 12 episodes.

Hmm. 6-8 for 12 episodes is ideal. Although I would love to watch some chapters from volume 9 animated. Especially the battle between Akagi vs Kyousuke. It's pure epic.

I want to remind people that posting spoilers from the novels is not okay in this thread, so please guard your comments carefully.

That aside, they did indeed post the interview up on AkibaBlog (NSFW ads) as promised, but at first glance they don't appear to offer that much in terms of concrete details on the anime production. In particular, no announcements yet about staff or air date. They are apparently having a fan contest to help them name the title/subtitle for the second season, though. Will have to look through again later to see if there's any other useful info.
