Looking for Hard Trance
One of my favorite styles but I don't know enough of songs of this kind. I don't know any electronic artists that produce hard trance consistently either =/
I want to know if anyone here have any songs to share with me. Particularly mixed with the soft ambiance, and saw synth. I already listen to a lot of gabba, hardcore, dubstep, noise, and DnB; but none of them are enjoyable to me as this. |

It is hard to recommend artists.
Most do a couple of hard trance songs, but also a lot of other styles. Dj Sharpnel for example. And for Betwixt & Between, I'm not sure how much of their songs are hard trance. Is it just the beat, that makes the difference? I tend to skip songs that have the typical Trance "high flutter sound", as displayed in your #2 example towards the end. That's a disqualifier for me. I filtered through several 100GB of doujin and jcore (or j-something) music last year, trying to find the few gems in between. There is a lot of the style you are looking for in there, but only few artists that do more than 1 or 2 songs in it. And for those, I would only want to recommend the ones, that are any good. Because most were not (at least to my tastes). Really, this genre seems to be 98% crap. Also you seem to be aware of the better ones already... Well, so much for the disclaimer. I'll go through what I recently found and list what matches the style and does not straight out suck. ![]() Alice S Emotion moro (maybe?) Dj Noriken Dj Technorch Dj Technetium fang fmy. Irus the album 'Another History' lulickma ... So I found nothing worthwhile beyond the 'L' mark for now. ![]() This is all from my j-music folder though, I'm not aware of anyone still doing this kind of music in the west. Edit: Oh, I forgot this one yesterday: Nhato Check him out first, only then the other crap. Last edited by Dhomochevsky; 2012-04-01 at 12:24. |

Ah, thanks. I'll look into it. Yeah, there aren't any artists that do this style exclusively. While it is something that can easily go wrong, I've harder time trying to find decent gabba or dubstep. So any of the genres I like can be so repetitive and generic

Yeah like Dhomochevsky said many artists just do a couple songs in each genre for the club scenes. If you like hard trance you may like Minimal trance/house. Really heavy beats. Try Andy Mart for Minimal.
http://promodj.com/djandymart/tracks...ystika_Records If thats not hard enough you can try Fidget house. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdiKUgjAUKU I know its not what you asked for but its still as hard and is a part of trance so thought I'd recommend something Ps: Went to see Andy Mart live and he is amazing. Defiently should check out his mixes if you like heavy beats.
